Emilia has always wanted a boyfriend, just the thought of finding love gives her butterflies, let alone actually falling in love. She's had crushes before, but they never seem to return the same feelings.
She's always know that a guy will never like her, and theres only one reason Emilia is sure of, and that reason is Cassie. Cassie is the most beautiful girl in school, she has dirty blonde hair, bright blue eyes and an appetite for love. She'll literally do anything for a boyfriend, like, ANYTHING! People love her, especially the boys.
Emilia has always felt kinda stupid by this. There's always going to be that one person that'll fall for you, but they never come... she's the only person who understands that.

Emilia woke up to the buzz of her alarm. She rubbed her eyes as the continuous sound buzzed through her mind. The sound angered her. She sighed as she painfully crawled out of bed. She showered and changed into her outfit for the first day of the second semester:

She brushed off her outfit and smiled in the mirror. She looked average. At least to her she did. She tied her strawberry hair back into a messy braid, and applied the smallest amount of makeup she could to her face.
Emilia picked up her bag from her bed and glided downstairs to meet her mum waiting for her. She slid to the kitchen and picked up a breakfast bar "mum I'm heading to school!" She sang and her mother walked into the room. "Have fun Hun!" Her mum said blowing Emilia a kiss goodbye.
Emilia arrived at the bus station just in time. She boarded the bus and pulled out her phone for the half hour trip to school.
About 5 minuets into thee drive the bus stopped at another station to pick up some more people. Emilia scrolled was scrolling through her phone when a guy approached her, "Heyy! Is this seat taken?" Emilia looked up at the boy and realised that he was talking to her. She hesitated through her words, "Uhm, phht! Yea suree!" Emilia removed her bag from the seat, and the boy fell onto it giving Emilia a grin.
Emilia scanned the boy, black hair, blue eyes, dimples and a perfect smile. Her heart began to race... she HAD to do something or say something to this boy.
She looked up at him. She opened her mouth to say something, but no words came out. The boy seemed to notice and looked over at her and smiled, and of course, she smiled back. He turned back to face his phone and kept scrolling. Emilia took a deep breathe and opened her mouth. "Uhm, Hi! I'm Emilia!" She held her hand out for him to shake. The boy chuckled "I'm Jyrus, but you can call me Jye!" He gripped her hand and shook it. They stayed grasping each others hand for a while, until Emilia broke the silence. "Ahem! So uhm, where are you heading?" She asked Jye removed his hand "school" he bluntly answered. "O-OH! Me too!" "Really?" "Yeah!" "I'm in year 10." She continued. "How about you?" She asked "I'm the same!" Emilia's eyes widened. He seemed interested in talking to her. She felt her heart beating out of her chest. She really liked Jye...
