I pulled into a maccers car park, “Babe, go get us some trays.”
Clarisse raised her eyebrows, “Seriously? You go get them.” She was so stubborn, “Go gettem Clairbear. Common, I’ll make it worth your time.” I winked to emphasise what I was saying, she rolled her eyes and hopped out of the car, slamming the door hard enough to make the car shake. “Ohh looks like someone’s pissed their misses off.” Dan taunted. I turned around and punched him as hard as I could, “shut it Dan, you know what she’s like.”
Harry laughed and slung his arm around Demi, “Soo Babe, what do you say we do some drifts?”
“Wh-whats that?”
The guys laughed loudly, causing her to blush tomato coloured. “Can I please get out now.”
“Sure babe, it should only take you about an hour to walk back to school, you know your way right?” Harry laughed, at her obvious discomfort. This chick was seriously out of it, “No, I don’t” she shrunk back into her seat and tried to avert any ones gaze.
It didn’t take long for Clarisse to come back with the trays, shoving them in my face she scowled. “Happy now?”
I nodded, grinning, “of course babe.” And with that I reversed from the park I was in, Demi yelping as we almost backed into someone’s car.
“Did they try stop you taking the trays?” Dan asked, touching Clarisse’s shoulder, clearly trying to comfort her. She was over reacting. I just asked her to get some trays not bend over and be my bloody foot stool. “They don’t get paid enough to care, I know I wouldn’t bother when I’m working.” She shrugged.
Bored of conversing, I turned the volume of the music up so loud we couldn’t hear ourselves think let alone each other talking.
It took about an hour to drive out to deep enough country to find a decent area to drift without damaging my car anymore than I already had, by which point Demi had fallen asleep on Dans shoulder much to his protest.
I pushed my speed up till we were going 110, turning corners much too fast, when “SHIIIITT!!” I slammed on the breaks before I turned my car into scrap metal.
“Babe, whats that?” Clarisse pointed to the huge metal chunk lying in the middle of the road, it was about the size of a small car, and circular in shape, I stopped the car, “No idea, want to go have a look?”
Clarisse bit her lip, “It won’t be anything dangerous will it?” she sounded more than apprehensive. I laughed and squeezed her arm, “Course not babe. It’s the middle of nowhere.”
“I know but, I had a dream about this... It didn’t end well.” She looked down embarrassed. I had to try hard not to laugh, “You had a dream about a chunk of metal?”
