The girl named gloria

"Wake up hunny, time to get ready the vans are loaded" my mother shock me as she lightly spoke, I cracked open my left eye the bright sun gleamed in from the window "already mum it's 9:00 in the morning" I groaned as I covered my face with my pillow "be ready in 10 minutes" she loudly said whilst walking out the room. If you haven't figured already it's moving day today me and my family are moving away from all the memories that ever existed. I dragged my feet out of bed whilst my head laid tight to my pillow, as the groans of my voice echo through the house.

Slowly I made myself look presentable by layering myself in my winter sweater which reads "be yourself" across it, and leggings and my sister Georgia's Uggs ready for the 5 hour journey I was about to take! "Mum where is my phone charger I can't find it anywhere" I shouted down the stairs whilst scattering through the remaining box with stood centred in the middle of my room, "it's in the car now hurry up" my mother demanded, as I piled on my coat and scarf my little sister Skyla came running into my room "brooke help me find fluffy he's not in my bed anymore" she whined whilst scanning the box in search for her teddy bear "look in Gloria's room I think it's on her bed " I replied as the words transferred across the room Skylas eyes lit open "mum said no ones aloud in there" she said whilst her face dropped to a miserable expression, I hugged her whilst a tear dropped from my face "ok I'll help you look in a minute" you see Gloria is my 10 year old sister she died last week no one knows how, no one knows why but my little sister died last week whilst playing hide and seek in the woods at the back of the house, her body was found a mile away near the creak. We are moving to forget about the terrible memories that lye in the hands of Gloria.

As the car filled with bags, I sat staring out the windows at the tree with a state of confusion when Georgia walked in the car "there my shoes get them off now, Mum Brooke's got my Uggs" she waled whilst sniggering at me, I took them of throwing them out the car into the snow "there take your stupid shoes" I replied whilst grinning and sliding my earphone back into my ear.

The door slammed shut as Skyla got in the car, I looked deep into the woods trying to figure out why but all that came to mind was how my dad told me that god only picks the pretty ones... The car followed the van in which was filled with all our belongings. We were to be travelling for what seemed like days but was really only 2 hours!

I woke up as the car brang to a stop, I stared out the windows to see nothing but fields, trees, no people just us. My mum said that's all we needed, each other of course. I got out the car standing on the wet grass in my socks, I didn't seem to care it was as if through out that journey I just gave up hope? I sat down on the grass whilst everyone ran to the house as it began to rain! "Wake up, get up. Are you stupid Brooke are you purposely trying to miss school, wake up! It's pouring rain and you're sleeping? Well don't blame me when you have a cold and want the days of school, I ..." My mum shouted "mum I don't care, leave me alone! I hate you right now" for an unknown reason I felt the urge to yell at my mum? She stormed over "don't you dare speak to me like that, you think it's just you suffering? Grow up because it's not how do you think I feel, or even so do you care! She screamed "just leave me alone mum, I don't want to speak to you, do I have to make that any clearer" I burst into tears whilst running away. I just guess I miss Gloria you see we have always been homeschooled and Gloria is my twin the person I shared everything with, she was my best friend I just feel completely lost with out her, sometimes I wish it was me!
