"But Mum I don't want to go to the shopping centre! It's so boring!" says Kyle as he and his mum walk to the car. "Kyle, you can't stay here alone, you've got to remember your only 9 and it's not a very safe neighbourhood." says Kyle's mum as she opens the door. "Fine, but I'm getting a new pair of shoes at the shops." says Kyle angrily. "Whatever Kyle, just stay out of trouble and to make sure you stay out of trouble, your staying with me the whole time." says Kyle's mum. Sarah just looks at them and keeps walking to the car.
When they arrived at the shopping centre, Kyle saw a pair of shoes that he really wanted and ran towards them and Sarah follows him, but then as soon as he grabs the shoes, someone grabs them by their wrists and runs towards the exit. "HELP!" screams Kyle and Sarah, but no one comes to help them. "HELP" They scream even louder but still no one comes to rescue them. Then the kidnapper rushed to the car that didn't have a number plate and stuffed Kyle and Sarah in there. Then all of a sudden everything gets blurry and Kyle and Sarah pass out.
(5 YEARS LATER)
"Dad, I need to ask you something, whatever happened to my mum?" asked 14 year old Kyle. "What do I tell you every time you ask me that? She died because she was murdered!" lied Jimmy Wilson. Kyle just sighed. "Kyle I actually have something to tell you, I'm not your dad, I'm not even related to you, I...I kidnapped you and your friend Sarah and I don't know where your mum is.." said Jimmy sadly. "I..I can't believe you would do that..." Then he runs up to his room. " I need to get out of here and he cannot stop me!" Thinks Kyle, then he gets his bag and starts putting food, water bottles that are full, blankets, a pillow and clothes in it. Then he sneaked out the window as he hears footsteps coming up to his room. He jumps out the window and hears gunshots.
"What the..." He whispers to himself as he peers through the window. He sees Jimmy's dead body with people standing around it. "I...I have to get Sarah!" He rushes over to Sarah's house and knocks on the door. No one's home. He climbs up a tree and peers through a window. Sarah's room! There she is sitting on her bed typing on her laptop. Kyle knocks on the window and she looks up. She comes and opens the window. "Kyle, what are you doing here? My parents aren't home." Sarah says. "Sorry I know it's really late but..." All of a sudden the house of Jimmy Wilson blows up and fire and smoke goes everywhere. "Yeah... we have to run right now, we have to get away from here it's not safe at all for me and you." Kyle says. "Let me pack." says Sarah as she walks back to her draws. '2 minutes pass'. "Quickly, we don't have time Sarah!" Kyle says trying to rush her. " I'm ready lets go Kyle."
