I woke up the next morning earlier than usual. My entire body seemed to be buzzing as I stretched my limbs and crawled out from under the chevron printed blanket. I walked into the bathroom and looked into the mirror before stripping off my clothes and jumping into the shower. After I rinsed my favorite ocean shampoo out of my hair and shaved my legs I padded into my room. As I walked in I heard my phone going off.
Without looking at the I.D. I answered
"Hello?"
"Good morning beautiful" said a husky voice.
".....Drake?" My mouth asked before I had time to think. I mentally face palmed just incase it wasn't him and that was dumb.
"Blake. Who else were you expected cutie?"
"Can I help you?" I asked sassily. This wasn't in my plans for today.
"Actually you can. I'm in the mood for..."
"Oops! Wrong number." And with that, my phone fell back onto the bed.
I made my way over to my walk-in closet, ignoring the buzzing behind me. I wasn't that easy and he wasn't gonna get my attention so easily. I picked out my favorite muscle tank and yoga pants with a bandeau and matching panties and changed out of my towel. I decided against makeup and threw my hair into a messy bun. Who cares if I'm staying home? My dog doesn't judge.
I decided it was a movie day and made my way down to the movie room. Mom was at work, of course. So it was just me and princess today. We settled in with the chamber of secrets, just as my door bell rang. I groaned, but got up anyway.
I opened the door, only to be stunned silent and stare at the jerk in front of me.
"That's my greeting? No hug?" He smirked down at me, towering over me but not so much it was awkward.
"Are you stalking me now?" I smirked back, two can play this game.
"I don't need to babe. I can get any girl I want."
"So what...your cars broken down out front? Looking for your lost puppy?" I asked sarcastically.
"Aww, did I make you jealous?" His smirk grew even wider at the thought.
I couldn't help but snort at that. Ladylike as I am. "You wish player. Now seriously, what? You're interrupting my hot date with Daniel."
"Daniel who?" He asked sharply. If he wasn't such a player, I'd suspect some jealousy.
"Radcliff. We done here?"
He just laughed. Obviously he wasn't too bothered.
I started shutting the door, only to have his hand shoot out and stop it.
He flipped his messy black curls before stepping forward. He was a little too close for my liking so I stepped back. This time he didn't hesitate to step closer until I was pinned between his body and the wall.
My eyes I'm sure resembled dinner plates at this point.
He leaned forward until his lips were beside my ear and his breath fanned my neck, "I wouldn't close the door on me cutie. I didn't come all the way here for sass. It just so happens I'm a potter fan anyways. Now let's go babe. Or we can stay here and have more fun." He winked and inched closer, waiting for me to respond.
Instead of replying, I pushed him away and walked back into the movie room. I heard his footsteps behind me, but didn't bother looking up. I pressed play and the opening scene started to play.
Before I knew it, the end credits were rolling across the screen. Sometime in the two hours Blake had moved closer and I finally noticed the heat on my leg.
I turned my head to say something, only to be face to face with the blue eyes boy next to me. I moved back and collected my thoughts for a second.
"Umm...that was fun." He said awkwardly, scratching his neck. That was adorable...wait what? No.
"Yeah, it was."
"Listen Grace, I wanna be friends. Can we do that?"
"Why?"
"It's yes or no babe." He stared into my eyes, making it hard to think straight. I settled for a yes, trying to hide my blush.
"Good! I should get going cutie, I'll be back later." Before I could even respond he was up and adjusting his shirt. He walked by and paused in front of me before turning towards the door and leaving.
As soon as the door closed, it hit me. What the hell just happened?
