*AMELIAS POV*

School was awkward.

And that's a complete understatement.

I haven't talked to Baylaa sense the New Years party...which was six days ago. I would pass her in the halls and all she would do is glare at me, as if I was the bad guy here. I wasn't going to apologize to her mainly because I didn't do anything wrong.

She still doesn't know about Noah and me, well not officially at least. I hadn't said anything to her about it and I wasn't planning on it. Once she decides to be mature about it I will be mature and tell her about it.

"You have no idea how hard it is for me not to be able to hold your hand right now." I knew it was Noah instantly because nobody else can send shivers down my spine.

I smiled as I turned and looked up at him. "I feel your pain too bud." I laughed as we continued to walk down the crowded hallway.

"People are aware that we have a thing, you know that right?" His hand brushed against mine and kept slight contact with it, it was driving the sparks in my arms insane.

"You hate me, don't you?" I asked and then looked down at our hands, his eyes following my gaze. I heard his deep laugh that made my eyes travel back up to him, a smile sliding on my lips. "And no, I was not aware that people were aware that we had a thing."

"Well it's not very many but when your someone like me, you know, popular." He looked down at me with a smirk.

"Someone like you? I'm sure there are many modest and annoying assholes that walk down these very hallways." I rolled my eyes at him.

"What can I say? I'm one of a kind, munchkin." My nose instantly scrunched up at that stupid nickname he has for me. I may be short but you should be careful, my knee is in perfect alignment with where it hurts most.

"Keep calling me that and you will be a single asshole." I jokingly glared at him.

"I think we both know that I'm not going to to be single for a very long time...if ever again." He looked down at me with his amazing smile, my cheeks blushing insanely.

He's a little to sure about our relationships future when we are so young. I'm only a junior and he's a senior, I'm just worried about making it through final exams in two weeks.

Although it was still cute that he said it so I'm not about to complain about it.

We turned into our study hall classroom and made our way to the back, only now did I notice the way people stopped and stared at us.

Well damn maybe people do care about our whereabouts.

I rolled my eyes and pushed past people to get to my seats. I heard Noah laugh as he followed after me. I practically flopped into my chair and threw my backpack to the ground.

"What's wrong?" Noah laughed at me as he sat down.

I slouched down in my seat and folded my arms over my stomach. "I hate the attention!" I sighed but I know the anger was clear.

"You don't mind it when your on the court." I turned to look at him, his sparkling eyes instantly catching my attention.

"It's home to me out there, I barley even notice the attention." I shyly smiled at him, volleyball was my passion and everyone knew that.

"You love it out there, don't you?" I loved the way he smiled when he would find something out about me or would make me happy.

"More than life itself." I smiled more to myself than to him. I looked back up to him to see him smiling like crazy at me. "What are you smilin' about?" I laugh at him.
