Nightmares

Technical problems

It was silence in the whole room
Someone was praying in his mind
Someone else was just shocked
Lowery Cruthers was looking at the screens

Someone entered in the room
Everybody looked at her
Claire Dearing: operation manager of the park
A bossy woman in white clothes who always thinks about business
She was shocked too but she had to appear calm and determined
She went next to Lowery Cruthers
She looked up the the screens too
Everybody was staring at her

"I have to go to the control room... please let me enter..."
"Mr... I'm so sorry but you haven't got the..."
"Listen to me... nobody will know that you did it... please let me enter... it's important..."
"Why so important?"
"I'm the only one that know something about this incident... and I'm the only survivor who was in the paddock when the animal escaped...      thank you..."

Someone else entered in the room
"Mr... I have to see your... sorry I have to... to see your..."
"There are a lot of cameras in the paddock... this animal couldn't ran away!"
Mrs. Dearing looked at the man who was just entered, then she looked at the ceiling
She was shocked and annoyed by his presence
She knew him
Really well
More then the others thought...
"There was a technical problem..." she said moving her look away from him
He was furious
"Did you see those signs on the wall? She made them for a specific reason!"
Mrs. Dearing was shocked
"We're talking about an animal here!"
"An highly intelligent animal!"
Silence
"Twenty meters from the paddock..."

Claire Dearing knew that it was a serious problem but she couldn't appear worried
She was looking at the screens
The men of the ACU were walking in the wood looking for the animal
"What are you doing?! Are you looking for the animal without lethal weapons?"
"We can't kill her... we invested seventy-five million dollars for this hybrid..." Simon Masrani tried to convince the man to stay calm
"Those men will die..."
"They're arrived" someone announced
"Delete this operation! Delete it now!"
The man was determined
"You can't give orders to us!"
Mrs. Claire Dearing was furious... she couldn't stand him
She couldn't stand that her ex boyfriend was giving orders to her... he was just a raptor trainer and she was the manager of the park...
She hated him in those situations... she knew that he was right but she couldn't admit it...

"The blood is still fresh... she isn't too far..."
