BLOODY LIPS

chapter two

The rain hit her window with a smooth beat and as she listened to it she got so tired. She walked to her bed and layed down and slowly went to sleep with the picture of his perfect body and dark eyes in her dreams.

In the morning she went to the kitchen to get a cup of warm blood but on the way she ran in to Balan, he stopped her and asked "what's wrong with you?"

"Nothing, "Kendra said "just hungry so I am going to go get some food do you want to go with me?"

"No, he said "but I am going that way can I walk with you?"

"Yes" she answered. As they walked down the hallway Balan asked "what happened last night?"

"Nothing why?"

"Because you came back different."

"It went well he tried to get away but I cut him off and kicked his ass."

"So why were you acting like there was something wrong?"

"I don't know maybe I was just tired."

"Okay the master told me to ask."

"Why do you do everything the master asks?"

"Because he could have my head in a second if I don't obey him. Don't you do everything he asks?"

"No I have a life I don't need someone telling me what to do."

They arrived at the master's room so he went his way and Kendra went to the kitchen. When she got there it was packed with so many vampires she had to eat fast and rush back to her room. She was writing in her diary when there was a knock on the door she yelled at them to hold on. She got up off the bed slowly and went to the door, when she opened it, the master was there.

"What are you doing here master?" Kendra asked fearfully.

"I am here to tell you that you have the night off."

But if you leave your throne someone will challenge you for it" Kendra said knowingly

"Its' okay no one will do so, they know I will have them beheaded if they try."

"Okay, Kendra replied "So If I have the night off, I will be going out master, I will be gone for a while."

"Okay" the master said respectfully. She bowed at his feet then he left.

She got up and went to her closet and pulled out a pair of leather pants and a leather shirt that had blood red laces on the front, she got dressed and grabbed her crossbow and left for the night.

She was walking through streets looking for some action she was trying to keep her mind off of Zepar. But everything she thought about made her think of him. She hoped she wouldn't run into him but if she did she would try to talk about business to keep her mind off of wanting him so bad. She was walking down 5th street when she saw him coming up to her, so she tried to run way but he ran after her and said "hey, where are you going".

"I need to talk to you" she stopped, turned and said

"What do you want?"
