I posted this a few days ago on my Instagram and some people asked for Part 2 so I'll probably write the second part tomorrow! Enjoy :)
**********
You and Jake had been married for two years now. It was his birthday today and you had a very special gift for him. Before he woke up you felt sick again and had to go into the bathroom. He had caught you almost every morning for two weeks now but you hated it when he saw you like that. Jake had insisted on you going to see a doctor two days ago and you had come home with amazing news but instead you told him you had the flu. Until now. You quickly brushed your teeth to get rid of the taste in your mouth before you quietly sneaked back into the bedroom and took the little gift out of your drawer before waking him up softly. You placed a kiss on his forehead and a kiss on his lips which he returned and opened his eyes a little."Happy birthday, baby.", you whispered and he smiled.
"Thank you, kitten.", he replied, his voice still being husky. You giggled and he sat up.
"Here's your gift.", you said handing it to him. You hoped he would not notice your nervousness. He took it and looked at you.
"You didn't have to gift me anything.", he protested but you made him open it. The test was laying in a little box.
"Open it.", you said biting your lip barely taking the anticipation. He opened it and looked at the test. The two blue lines were showing.
"Oh my gosh.", he said and hugged me."My kitten is having a little kitten."
"Are you happy?", you whispered in his ear.
"I'm beyond happy. I can't believe I'm going to be a dad.", he said with a big grin on his face. He kissed you deep and touched your stomach carefully.
"Hey little one. Your mommy and daddy can't wait to meet you.", he talked to the baby. You giggled and kissed his head.
"I love you, baby."
He looked at you and kissed you softly."I love you more."
"Let's get up. Your family is coming over soon.", you said and he hugged you again.
"Well, they will be over the moon.", he giggled and got up.
"C'mon we need to prepare everything.", he was as excited as a little kid. That made you laugh and you knew he would going to be the best father ever.
