"Hey Briar what's u-"
"Shut it Ethan I'm trying to work."
"Oh, ok i just thought I'd give you some company..." He looked down at the floor. I looked up at him as he was going to leave.
"Wait." I say looking down at my books. He looked back up at me What am I doing...I think. "I didn't mean it that way, I just, need to get this done."
"o- ok." He stutters glancing over his shoulder, "I'll leave you alone." He closed the door behind himself and I looked back down to my book. I close the book I was previously working in and pulled out a new one from my backpack.
'Magical Drafts and potions by: Arsenius Jigger ' I brushed off the light layer of dust covering the book and opened to the first page. Inside there were millions upon millions of words that have no meaning. I skimmed through the pages until I found an odd picture. It was an hourglass, but there were brass ring encircling it. The words described a sort of lock spell put on them by a place called 'The Ministry of Magic' whatever that was. It said that with a certain potion it can be unlocked and used this thing they called a time turner. I looked closer and saw the rings were moving, on the paper! The picture was actually moving! The brass rings twirled around and around the hourglass as the sand in the picture was drained into the other compartment. It was shining, light filled the dim room What is this thing!? I ask myself. I go closer to the book where the time turner is still turning I go to touch it
A hard blast of wind blew me down and across the room. I fell, crashed into a giant bookcase, and all the neatly stacked books were scattered into the room.Books were flying towards the desk where the time turner had been. I tried my best to dodge them but failed. The covers grazed my wrists and hit my body. I saw blood dripping down my arm from a collision with a book, then everything went black.
*Author's note: yo so... chapter 2 was accidentally made private and once private you can't put it back -_-. Anyway go to part 14, that's where chapter 2 is *sorry* so do that and then come back to chapter 3 thanks for understanding <3*
