Can You Hear Me?

              Mom! Myrtle called, Mom! Can you hear me? Her mom had some Mexican music on and was dancing in the living space.  Urgh... Myrtle walked over to her mom who seemed to be deaf. Mom! Yes?(Linda said) Linda is Myrtle's mom. I've been trying to ask you if I can go outside to "play"  now ! Oh sure ...just come back in time for dinner IT'S TACO NIGHT!!!!

           "Beeeeeeeeeep!" Oh Myrtle can you go check on the oven before you go please? Thank you. said Linda. Fine fine fine fine fine.  She sighed. Hey don't talk like that to me I'm your mother! No no I meant it's fine the food is fine. Ok well, you can go play now... Ok thanks bye!

Myrtle put on her dirty sneakers and her fall army coat.She was having a weird day and really needed to think. So she went to the back of the house where she has a secret little "hideout"nobody else knows about this place her dad made it for her when she as young and then he forgot I guess? 

This forest was called Greenway Pass. Everybody says its a great name but I think the people who named it were just lazy  well yeah grass is green and there are tons of ways but I'll pass.

The forest always seemed to be calming and safe place so i started to walk down a path I stopped by a large tree and sat at the bottom.I started to listen to the wind  blowing through the beautiful fall leaves.I started to doze off  but that's when I heard a sound it was loud and   startling I thought maybe a wolf or a bear I was terrified. I stood up and looked around .I took grip of a large club like stick.It was coming for me! The sound came closer and closer until ...

It was a bird . A small beige  bird these types are very common in this area. Phht! I wasn't scared no!  Ha ha ha NO!Totally calm dude like so chill like yeah. But what if it was a wolf or a bear not that I thought it was but just what if?

Would I run home, try to attack the creature? I don't know...

Let's think about this seriously though THIS IS A LIFE OR DEATH SITUATION!!!
