Best friends brother

{mackenzies pov}

I wake up nice and early so I can pack my bag for brynns house, brynn has been my best friend for over a year now and we are having our first sleep over. I Walk over to my closet and pick out three outfits, a pair of swimmers, my phone and a pair of joggers. I get dressed out of my pyjamas and put on a floral dress paired with silver sandals, I then text brynn.

kenzie: Heyy what time can I come over?

brynn: anytime I'm home all day 😊

kenzie: ok, my bags packed coming over in 10?

brynn: ok cya then xx

kenzie: byeeeee

I grab a granola bar and head out the door. I can just walk to brynns since she lives up the street from me once I reached her door I rang the door bell. The door opens I yelled hey bry--
but I was cut of when I realise brynn didn't answer the door. "um is brynn home" I sighed "yeah" said the boy "she's upstairs" "um ok" I whispered as I ran up the stairs I burst into brynns door "I'm baaaack" I yelled "Mackenzie" brynn squealed whilst running up to me and hugging me "it's been so long" I gushed "totally" brynn eeked "so whatcha wanna do?" She questioned "hmm I dunno what do you wanna do" I asked "ah let's make cookies" she squealed (brynn loves cookies) "ok sure I am starving" I said.

we ran downstairs and into the kitchen to start making cookies we got out all of the ingredients and started mixing them all together but in the middle of us making cookies brynn got a text message. brynn picked up her phone and started replying "who is it brynny?" I asked "shoot it's my mum I have to go she needs some help I will be right back kenz" she blurted "oh okay bye brynnyboo" I sighed as I heard the door slam shut I was kinda bummed that brynn couldn't be around so I just pulled myself up to what I thought was brynns room and flopped on the bed but as I looked up I saw a boy just in a towel "oh my gosh" I squealed and ran out of his room I ran down the stairs and hid in the living room behind the couch I could hear footsteps and someone breathing very heavily so I ducked down even more the person was now in the living room and as I poked my head up he saw me "hey why are you hiding behind the lounge, you're brynns friend right makenna I think anyway I'm jake brynns brother you're very beautiful" he blurted out "firstly I was hiding because I ran in on you changing in your room, secondly yeah I am brynns friend thirdly it's Mackenzie not makenna and nice to meet you and thanks" I breathed.
