Saeyoung
"The rain is calming, is it not?"
She turned her head, and nodded.
"Of course it is. I just wish it would come on a better day."
A faint smile spread across my face, hearing her gentle words. They just flowed so... so gracefully. Y/N was just so--
"Beautiful."
She gave me a questioning look, with her cheeks tinted a light crimson.
"Yes, the rain is indeed beautiful."

My fingers were just moving away at the keyboard, little to no errors being made. I could only barely hear the muffled keyboard sounds, and the music that boomed through my headphones.
Y/N was awfully quiet. By now, she would have come up behind me, and asked what I was doing, but maybe she's busy?
"Saeyoung, are you doing anything at the moment?" Her quiet voice spoke.
Taking off my headphones, I asked her to repeat herself, because of how quiet she was. At least she didn't take offence.
"Uh, no. I just finished." I reply, hitting the 'enter' key.
"Oh, that's nice to hear! Um, would you like to play a game? The rain seems to have darken the mood, so I thought it would be fun." Y/N began, clarifying her words whenever needed.

"MWAHAHAHAHA!!! I WIN!!!" I loudly exclaim, hoping the neighbours would not mind.
Y/N kept staring at the 'Monopoly' game board, realizing I had won. She silently groaned, "Is there a forfeit?"
A wide grin appeared on my face, mouthing, "Yup."

"You have to go outside - in the rain - and yell, 'Help! Where's my Defender of Justice, Saeyoung!?'." I chuckle, watching her expression change into fear, yet with excitement.
Y/N agreed, asking to borrow my jacket since it was raining.
She ran outside, the rain falling around her. I just sat on the stairs before the doors, watching her. It almost seemed like the water droplets wouldn't touch her, they just kept their distance. Of course, nothing that unrealistic could happen.
"Help! Where's my Defender of Justice, Saeyoung?!" Y/N yelled.
Once I heard it, I couldn't help but laugh, except now, my plan was coming together.
After her last word, I ran up to her, and picked her up in a kind of bridal style. At first, she jumped when I came out of nowhere, and now she was roaring with laughter.
"I, Saeyoung, the Defender of Justice, am here to save you!"

I swung the door close, and put Y/N back to her feet. She let out a giggle, pushing her soaking wet hair to the back.
Hah, Y/N should have use my jacket properly, rather than having it hovering above her.
Still, she was happy.

Her face reddened more, only just taking a glance at me, "Saeyoung, promise me you'll never leave...?"
I gave her a crooked smile, "Of course. I'll never leave. I will always make sure you're happy."
Y/N grinned, holding me in a tight embrace. At first, her actions surprised me, but I immediately wrapped my arms around her as well. She buried her head my chest, making my face heat up. I guess I knew for sure now... that she's the one I want. God, forgive me for my selfishness, but I plead for her to be forever happy. I want her to know how special she is to me, how beautiful she is, and lastly, how much I love her.

After, what seemed to feel like hours, Y/N pulled away, "I'm going to go take a quick shower, and change out of these soaking clothes."
I nodded my head, muttering a few words under my breath. She gave me a questioning look, but then disappeared from my eyes.

I don't know why, but I just couldn't wipe this smile off my face. It felt permanent, like it was to stay there forever. I wish I could keep it forever, but upon opening my inbox, I knew that smile could never return to my face.
It was needed for me to leave... immediately. Except, I can't bring myself to leave her.
She's much too special to me, but I have to, to make sure Y/N is safe.

I already saw myself packing all of the things I needed, heavily breathing. She is going to hate me so much after this.

Just as I was looking for all my supplies, from the corner of my eye, I saw a framed picture. I already knew what was contained in the frame, but I still picked it up.
It was a picture of Y/N and I from a day or two ago. This photo would always remind me of good times. Maybe there should be a reason for her to remember me...? I don't know anymore.
With a faint smirk, I stood the frame up, sticking a small little note:

'Let's meet again once more.
I'm sorry.
Please remember me.
-Saeyoung'

"Y/N... I'm sorry to have already broken my promise. I understand if you are going to hate me, but know that I love you so much.
Goodbye, Y/N."
Thus, I swung the door close, walking down the hallway with my head down.

I'm so sorry...
Don't forgive me for the pain I will cause you...
