Klaus's POV
Rotterdam, Netherlands
"Good evening citizens of the Netherlands. It appears war has broken out in our country, starting in Amsterdam. For safety reason, everybody is to stay inside. Lock doors, windows, and protect yourself from the enemy. The national army will protect youa nd our country from distater." Armin out a hand up, and ended the live stream video.
"Was it good?" I asked.
"Yes, your highness."
"My father does them better." I walked away, walking through familiar walls and pictures and furniture. I trudged up the stairs, tired of today's events.
I reached the room, and saw Alisa sleeping peacefully on the large king sized bed. I'd sleep there, but she was right in the middle of the bed. I had no choice, so I walks dover to her and pushed her to the side, giving me just enough space to lay down. She stayed fast asleep.
I sat on the bed, and put my head in my hands. I wasn't ready for this. I'm too young. I'm not ready to be king, at least not yet.
But you want the power, don't you?
I thought I did, but I don't know anymore. I've been taught since the day I was born how to be king. Who knows when I'll be king. In a few years, months, days, tomorrow, or even today.
"Klaus?" I turned around, seeing a half asleep Alisa looking at me.
"Hey." I smiled. She half smiled back, but then feel asleep. She looked beautiful sleeping, not.that she never looked beautiful. She always did.
Stop it Klaus. She's not your friend, not your ally.
I got up and went into the bathroom. I splashed water on my face, which always helped me calm down. I took of my shirt, and there it in the corner. I walked out and layed on the bed. I looked over at Alisa.
Klaus...
I turned away from her. Its not right, I can't do it. Like she said, she isn't mine, and I'm not hers.
Alisa's POV
Rotterdam, Netherlands
I woke up, the light shining through the large windows. I stretched my arms, thinking about how wonderful my sleep was. I looked the the side of me, expecting to see Klaus. He want there. I shrugged and got out of bed. I headed towards the bathroom, then Klaus walked out. His hair was wet, showing he just took a shower.
He looked at me for a quick second, as if trying to figure out something about, then walked away. I looked back, expecting him to say something, but he stayed quiet. Was he mad at me or something. His fave a while ago didn't look liek he was pleased to see me.
I ignored the thought and walked into the bathroom. I brushed my teeth and took a quick shower. I wrapped the towel around me, and opened the slightly. Luckily, Klaus wasn't there. I walked out and locked the bedroom door.
I looked in the closet, and saw clothing for girls. They about my size. Must be Esme's cloths. He had a pair of light blue skinny jeans and a grey cowl neck sweater. I brushed my hair, letting down for today. I walked down the large stairs, and decided to explore this vast place.
