The attack or coincidental meeting II

Afram's POV
   I woke up in a strange room, I don't know how I got there.
  "oh my baby" my mum said entering the room  with her arms stretched ready to give me a hug.
" ouch...that hurts" I said trying to get out of her tight hug.
" I will make sure those bastards pay for touching my son. Don't worry baby , everything is under control " she said feigning a smile.
  A nurse came into the room to check some machines attached to my body and administered some injections. When she was done, she ushered my mother out so that the doctor can check my wounds.
" Hello" I heard as I raised my eyes to check on the person talking. I couldn't reply. It was Naina! Is she the doctor? What is she doing here? Did she recognise me?
"How are you feeling?" She asked smiling. This made me to snapped out of my thoughts. I tried to sit up but she asked me to calm down so that she can check the wound. I watched her as she carefully unwrapped the bandage and nodded with satisfaction.
  " your bandage would be removed later in the day. You heal really fast. " she said smiling. She was about to leave when I stopped her.
" why did you leave the other morning? " I uttered out. I couldn't believe I said it out. I  could see how surprised she was. Was she expecting me not to recall her face? Someone I have been dreaming about?
She took a sit near the bed .
" I know you have a lot of questions and I have also. Am listening now you can ask me anything " she said looking at my hands.
" why did you leave that morning? " I repeated.
" I am sorry. I was in shock then and I don't know what to tell you . I thought we aren't going to meet again, but you were brought in unconscious and injured. I was confused to see you in that state." She said while readjusting her posture.
" for how long have I been here?" I asked staring at her.
" 5 days , you were unconscious for 4 days. We thought you won't make it but we took the risk. " she paused" the police said they got your attackers , ehmm...they were the guys that tried to rape me the other time" she ended looking away.
" yeah , they beat me up with there gangs when I was coming from the gym. " I said feeling ashamed.
" your mother is pressing serious charges against them. I will be back later to remove your bandages. I have to go now" she said while making her way out.
I wanted to ask her to stay but I restrained myself. I was very happy to see her . she looks beautiful and more radiant. I couldn't believe I would see her again.

Naina's POV
I let out a heavy sigh as I left the room. I couldn't believe he will recognize me. It was strange to be under his stare. I don't know why my heart was beating really fast. I could have pretended not to the one.
I am going to talk to Teema I thought as I head to my office. Are we really meant to meet again?
