My dear clover, how's your day been? Good I hope, over here it's pretty rough. The general said for me to stay behind this time. I was reluctant but I had to obey orders, so I stayed at the base , patrolling the barracks, it was a week before the troop arrived at base. Around 26 went...only 15 came back. It turns out the enemy somehow knew we were coming and set up a ambush. Many great soldiers died. But don't let that worry you. I'm safe and unharmed, but I can't wait too hear about what's been going on at home. And I know your going through a tone of shit, just know that war never lasts. I'll be home soon,
