I really prefer my roleplay partners to have done at least a few roleplays. Have the character they will be playing as down. And try not to do just one liners. Give me something to work with. Depending on the character's personality, don't go all fancy with the wording. Also I don't plot, I do the base plot then send random starters all YOU need to do is play the character and go along with the rp.
