"W-What have I done?"
He stared at the ground with shaking hands. Blood kept on spreading from the lifeless body in front of him.
"(Y/n), (Y/n)...I'm s-sorry."He shivered and brought his hands to his hair. Red was the colour that shaded the dark colour of his hair as his fingers ruffled it. At the same time, the cries of a baby could be heard.
"Sh-Shut up!" He snapped. Quickly grabbing the knife, he headed straight for the crying baby, a psychotic smile laced on his lips.
He lifted the knife, ready to swing it towards the poor child.
"I-I-" He was breathing heavily, his eyes dark yet shone with fear.
He paused for a few minutes before dropping the knife on the ground."What was I thinking?" He hugged the baby tight in his arms.
-
"I didn't mean it to happen." He spoke out suddenly. Pan's eyes grew open as he snapped out from his daydream. His gaze shifted to a book on the table in front of him. It was the same book as the time where all the mess started.
"When did it get here?" He sighed and decided not to think of it too deeply.
He walked over to his cot. The sudden dream just now made him tired.Just as he was about to lay down and get some rest, a knock was heard on his door. He grunted but got up to open it anyway.
He was met with the woman he loved, looking as better as yesterday. Her scent was wonderful, it was enough to send him in a bliss.
"Oh, (Y/n). How are you doing today? I hope you are fine after those events yesterday." He smiled softly and invited her in.She nodded and sighed softly as response. Her hair was neatly combed and designed not to cover her eyes. Pan guided her to the bed and sat next to her.
"Peter, I want to talk about yesterday."
Her face suddenly grew serious as she stared into Peter's green orbs."Mhm." He hummed in response whilst gently moving his head to (Y/n)'s lap.
She took this as a sign to continue,
"I think we need to spill the beans now. I want to know the rest about our past. These memories we keep on having are all linked to eachother. We just have to figure it out."She ruffled the boy's soft hair.
"And how do we figure that out, love?" He said as he closed his eyes. He felt calm just by being with her.
She paused to think before an idea struck her. She stared at the book on the table. Her fingers move to graze the cover and she flipped it open to reveal the empty pages again.A smile formed on her lips. She gestured for Pan to get off her lap and he did so. She sat on the floor and positioned the book in front of her.
"Pan, this is our answer."He tilted his head in confusion as he too jumped off the bed and sat in front of the book, opposite of her.
"I believe this book contains all of our memories during the past. Maybe...If we hold on it together like last time, the secrets would unfold!" She confidently said.Pan on the other hand, wasn't feeling so sure about this.
"I don't know, sweetheart. What if something happens?" His right hand moved to cover his eyes as he bit his lips."Pan, it's better than suffering all the pain after every memory attack. And besides, I'll be with you. Don't be scared. If anything happens..."
"...At least we're together." Pan continued, a relieved smile on his face. He offered a hand to (Y/n) and she gladly took it.
"On the count of three, okay?"
"One." She took a deep breath."Two." Sweat trickled down his skin.
"...Three!" They moved their hand hold on the book firmly. They grew dizzy as both of them felt their conciousness slipping away.
Slowly, the sight changed into something different.
-
"You want her back?" A man said to Malcolm in front of him. The person had green hair with slight yellow highlights on it. He had spectacles on his fair and pale face. Along with the pink lips and hard stare, he looked quite intimidating.
"Yes, Mr.Magician. I need your help to get her back to life."
Twenty eight days down, two more to go.
