Chapter 11

{Elliot}
I wake up to the sun in my eyes and I'm already beginning to hate today. "Good morning Elliot. How are you feeling?" Dalton says and I roll over to look at him. "Good morning to you too babe, but I feel really tried. Will you please carry me?" I say and he picks me up bridal style and carries me down the steps and into the kitchen before he puts me down on a seat. "What do you want to eat?" Dalton asks and I shrug my shoulders. "It doesn't really matter to me. I just want some really good food to eat." I answer simply, and he nods his head as he starts to cook.

{A few minutes later...}
About ten to thirty minutes later, Dalton puts a plate of tradition Asian food in front of me and my heart starts go into overdrive. "The way to my heart is through food, and you're definitely winning at life right now." I say with a laugh and he nods his head as he starts to beam with pride. "I'm the only one competing." He says seriously and I nod my head in agreement. "You are right. So what do you want to do today?" I ask and he just shrugs his shoulders. "We can do whatever you want to do, but you said something about going to see your friends last night." Dalton says and I nod my head excitedly as I run up to my room and change my clothes.

I decide to go with a pair of dark grey/ombrè pants and an all black shirt with a pair of black wedge boots. "Are you ready to go, Elliot?" I can hear Dalton asks from down the stairs and I quickly make my way down the stairs and I smile when I see him. His jaw's dropped and I start to blush as I walk closer to him. "Do you like it?" I ask and he absentmindedly nods his head. "You look absolutely... magnificent." He whispers and my blush only deepens as I slowly kiss him on his lips. "Okay! Now let's go!" I say before I pull out of the house with me.

{About ten to fifteen minutes later...}
Dalton and I pull into my old high school and I smile to myself as he stop the car. "This is where I did a big part of my growing up. This where my friends and family are." I say as I beam with pride as we step out if the car. "So I could learn about you just by staying here for a short period of time?" He asks and I nod my head. "Yeah. Pretty much." I say before we walk into the high school. We walk into the front office to see an old lady sitting at the front desk. "Elliot? Is that you?" The old lady says and I nod my head. "Yes, it is I Mrs. Reeves. I have decided to grace you with my presence and return." I say in a formal tone of voice and she laughs. "All of the office ladies and the lunch ladies miss you so much." She says and I nod my head as I start to smile. "Mrs. Reeves, meet my boyfriend Dalton." I say and she looks Dalton up and down. "He looks good. Where'd you find this one?" She asks and I laugh. "I found him in London." I answer and he walks up to Mrs. Reeves. "Hello Mrs. Reeves. My name's Dalton and it's very nice to meet you. You seem to be very good friends with my Elliot so you're a good friend of mine." He greeted her then takes her hand before he kisses it. She starts to blush and I just laugh as her blush only deepens. "This one's a keeper." She says and I wave her off. "Do you know what classes my friends are in?" I ask and she nods her head. "Of course I do! They're in band right now." She answers and I give her a hug and a kiss on her cheek. "Thank you so much! I'm going to check them all out." I say and she nods her head. "As long as their parents are notified." She says and I nod my head. "I'll tell them. Bye Mrs. Reeves." I say and pull Dalton after me as I walk to my old band room.
