Meghan's eyes scanned the parking lot. Her mom was off today, so she drove to school. She spotted Alli getting off the bus and bolted to her.
"ALLI!" She yelled. Alli was startled.

"What?" She said panicky.

"Watch this." Meghan said. Meghan played the video and they both watched it without tearing away. When it was done, Alli stared in shock.

"I think you were right," Meghan said, "They said they were stalking me."

They both stood there a minute in shock.

"I..I..I'll protect you." She said softly. Meghan smiled as Alli. Her face full of fear.

"We'll get through this," Alli added. "Together." She smiled at Meghan. They both walked into school together, trying to forget what had happened the night before.

"This was outside our house?" Meghan's mom said confused.

Meghan nodded.

"Ok, well you watch out, ok, and I'll figure this out." Meghan's mom left the room placing a kiss on her forehead as she did. Meghan sighed and headed into her room.

She peeked out her window when she got in her room. Nothing was there. But she still got the flashback of the flashlight beam, filtering through her room. She took a deep breath.

It's just a memory. She thought. I can't be hurt by a memory.

She pushed the curtains back to their resting place,

Meghan sat down on her bed. Pulling a notebook out of her backpack, she started to write. Write a story that is. A story she'd send to someone that would believe her encounter.

Meghan first said it was hoax. Even her principal said it was a hoax. It was funny that she first believed it was a hoax to. Meghan took another deep breath.

She started writing, thoughts filled her head. Pranking, hoax, stalking. Writing it all down as she did. Then she heard a noise. She froze, and dropped her pencil. It clipping on the notebook as she did, rolling off into the sheets. She got up and went to her window again. This time instead of peeking through, she ripped the curtains open, only to find her neighbor taking the trash. Meghan let out a breath she didn't know she was holding. She relaxed her arms, and turned around to sit back down. But when she turned around a clown was standing right there, staring at her. He grabbed her next, Meghan was out of air in a second. She struggled, but couldn't breath.

Meghan sat up straight in bed. Coughing and breathing heavy. She placed a hand around her throat. Feeling as if the hand was still there. She breathed out again, reassuring herself it was only a dream. She sat there for a second. Her throat raspy when she tried to breath.

She got up and went into the kitchen. She got a glass of water, and drank it not stopping. She filled it up again. Drinking it slowly this time, not finishing it all at at once.

She turned around to lean against the counter for a second, when she noticed the window. There was white stuff covering it. Meghan tilted her head in confusion. She opened her back door leading to her back yard. What she saw was unbelievable.

There was toilet paper hanging from her tree on all branches, and off her roof. Also in the ground were knifes, not plastic ones, real ones, like hundreds. Meghan choked on her breath. Sitting just beneath the tree was a clown mask, staring right into her window.
