Daisy skipped down the stairs brightly. But of course no one noticed so she rolled her eyes letting herself being more like herself than usual. "LET ME GO!" Rory yelled trying to fight out Mr. Bass and Humphrey's grip.

Henry Bass snarled at him. "Why? So you can try to punch me again?" He asked raising an eyebrow. Out of the corner of her eye, Daisy could see Quinn Archibald sneaking out.

Internally smirking, Daisy skipped over to Quinn. "Where are you going? We haven't even had the turkey silly!" Daisy said loudly making everyone including Rory turning to the two. Quinn grit her teeth. "My daddy will want me home." Quinn replied calmly.

Daisy giggled, "But it'd be so much fun here!"

"I have to go." Quinn said turning to the door only to be stopped by Roxi grabbing onto her arm. "You're not going anywhere Quinn. We're not done with you." Audrey said menacingly stepping towards them.

Silence fell over the room. Until Daisy broke it with a loud giggle. "What is it?" Henry hissed.

Daisy didn't really know how to reply because her giggling was more of a habit at this point so she just came up with something on the spot. "Wouldn't be so funny if a giraffe and a chicken had a baby?" She said laughing.

"I don't think that's possible, sweetheart." Mr. Humphrey said slowly. Daisy had an urge to roll her eyes. Her dad sounded so patronising sometimes. "Oh." Daisy pouted sadly instead.

Then Dorota came in before anyway could say anything else. "Mrs. Blair, the pumpkin pie is ready." She said. "Thank you Dorota. We'll be right there." Mrs. Bass said smiling softly. Then she turned to all the kids.

"You have 10 minutes to work this out, otherwise there'll be no pumpkin pie for any of you." Mrs. Bass said to them. Daisy gasped, "No! I love pumpkin pie."

Mrs. Humphrey laughed. "Well if you want any you better hurry them up." She said pretending to be stern. Then all the adults left and sat down in the dining room. "We'll be timing you." Mr. Bass yelled as he left.

Audrey rolled her eyes turning to Quinn.

"First of all, someone in this room sent that tip off to Gossip Girl 2.0. Who was it?" Roxi asked looking at everyone. Henry put his arms up in defence. "I was with you the whole time." He replied.

"I know who it was." Audrey said. Everyone turned to her curiously. Smirking Audrey stepped towards Daisy.

"I say it was you Daisy. Henry and Roxi were downstairs with me and the photo couldn't be taken by either Rory or Quinn judging by the angle. So it's you. All I want to know is... Why?" Audrey said.

But Daisy was prepared. As soon as she'd taken the picture, she'd gone straight to a nearby diner for at least half an hour with a heartbroken Sarah Abrams to comfort her. "I was with Sarah Abrams." She replied with wide, innocent eyes.

"What were you doing with Sarah?" Rory asked. "She was like super sad about you kissing Quinn so I went to this super cool diner with her and got waffles." Daisy shrugged.

Quinn snorted. "I always knew that skank liked you." She said narrowing her eyes at nothing in particular. "Then who was it?" Roxi asked confused. Rory groaned. "I saw Spencer Sparks out the window. He was probably jealous." He sighed.

Audrey smiled. "Of course it wasn't Daisy." She said facepalming as she saw Daisy trying to talk to a painting of Mrs. Bass as a teenager.

"Time's- What are you doing Daisy?" Mrs. Bass said the second part looking at Daisy confused.

Daisy smiled brightly. "Hi Mrs. Bass. Meet my new best friend." She said excitedly. "She doesn't talk much." Daisy added in a stage whisper. "That's a painting. And it's been 10 minutes." Mrs. Bass sighed. She'd really have to tell Mrs. Humphrey about Daisy's troubling behavior.

"Yay!" Daisy squealed pushing past Audrey and Quinn as she ran into the dining room excitedly.

"Bye baby." Quinn smiled pecking Rory's lips before leaving. "What a whore." Henry muttered. "Henry! I will not accept that language in my house!" Mrs. Bass scolded as Rory opened his mouth to say something.

Instead he just smiled smugly at Henry. "Sorry mom." Henry muttered. "Whatever. Let's just have the turkey or whatever." Audrey huffed strutting into the dining room along with Roxi.

---------------------------------------------------

"Can you shut up? You're so stupid and annoying." Audrey snapped at Daisy annoyed. Everyone snapped their heads in their direction. They could see Audrey already looking regretful and Daisy's eyes filled with tears threatening to fall.

"I'm not hungry anymore." Daisy whispered standing up and running off before anyone could say anything. "Why would you say that? You know how sensitive she is." Rory snapped.

Audrey sighed standing up. "I'll talk to her." She said walking away in the general direction of Daisy. When she was just outside the dining room, Audrey could hear faint sobs from the downstairs closet.

"What are you doing in here?" Audrey asked softer than usual as she opened the door. Daisy sniffed. "I spend a lot of time in closets." Daisy shrugged. "You do?" Audrey asked raising an eyebrow.

"Yeah." Daisy replied and she was more than aware of how that sounded. But her persona didn't. Sometimes she felt like she was two different people. Like that book, Jekyll and Hyde.

Audrey shifted her weight awkwardly. "I'm sorry." She said sincerely.

"It's fine." Daisy mumbled fiddling with the hem of her dress, instead of accepting Daisy's obvious lie Audrey sat down next to her. "No it's not." Audrey replied. "I guess not." Daisy whispered looking down at the ground sniffing.

Cautiously, Daisy rested her head on Audrey's shoulder looking up to make sure it was okay. In reply, Audrey softly stroked Daisy's hair. Daisy buried her head into Audrey's shoulder crying softly. "I missed you." She whispered to Audrey. "So did I." Audrey whispered.
