Oliver wood one shot

You were in the Ravenclaw common room with your best friends Skyler, Ally, and Lizzy. You were setting up the common room for your birthday party. You put up the last streamer, and you were finally done!

"That took so long!" Skyler complained. Ally just rolled her eyes.

"It took us 45 minutes." Lizzy said.

"Exactly! It took forever!" Skyler complained.

"Whatever." You said laughing. You checked the clock, and it was 4 o'clock, 1 hour before your party started.

"We have to get ready! Its already 4!" You yelled. Every one ran up to the girls dormitories.

5 minutes until the party

You were finally ready. You walked down the stairs to the common room where everything was. Right as you reached the bottom, someone walked in. It was Luna Lovegood. You smiled and waved.

"Happy Birthday (Y/N)!" Luna said.

"Thanks Luna!" You said. Then Cho Chang walked in.

"Happy Birthday!" Cho said. You smiled. Then 2 people walked in. And soon the common room was filled. Everyone was talking, laughing, and drinking the spiked punch. The Gryffindor's aren't the only ones who know where the spiked punch is! We know how to get it! You were walking around trying to find one person. You boyfriend, Oliver Wood. You looked all over, and even asked people if they saw him, but no one did.

After the party

Skyler looked at you sadly.

"I'm so sorry that he didn't come. He is just a jerk." She said.

"I know. He knew how much it meant to me." You said.

"I know. I'm sorry. I can't believe he forgot his own girlfriend's birthday", she replied.

"It's fine, I kinda knew he wouldn't do anything seeing as he didn't say anything this morning", You said, shrugging your shoulders.

"Are you okay (Y/N)?", Luna asked sympathetically, rubbing your shoulders.

"Yeah, I'll be fine. I'm just a little upset but it's nothing I can't get over", You replied softly.

They nodded sympathetically and walked away to find your other friends, you walked outside and went under the bleachers by the Quidditch field. That's when you heard some cheering and it intrigued you because it sounded vaguely familiar.

"Alright, now we are ready to play Hufflepuff on Friday. Everyone, you guys can all go back to the Gryffindor common room", you heard your boyfriend tell the Gryffindor Quidditch team.

You were boiling with anger and decided to confront him as to why he's been ignoring you all day, it was just for Quidditch training which made you feel like you were less important than the sport that you'd grown to love throughout your years at Hogwarts.

"Oliver whatever your middle name is Wood!", you yelled angrily, storming onto the field.

He looked frightened because well, you are quite scary when you are mad. Despite your house placement, you could be as scary as an angry Slytherin.

"(Y-Y-Y/N)", he stammered, now fearing for his life.

"Do you realize what day it is?", you asked angrily.

He shook his head with confusion until a look of realization grew on his features, "My love, please. I didn't intend to forget-", he started until you cut him off.

"You didn't intend to forget that it's our last year in Hogwarts, our friends planned a party and now I feel less important all because you were focusing on a sport over me! Do you know how much that hurts? No, you don't because you've never had to feel forgotten about or to be left in the dust by your boyfriend/girlfriend!!", you yelled in anger, slapping him in the face.

"So you know what? I'm done, I'm done being left alone and forgotten just for a Quidditch practice or for a Quidditch match because it hurts so much to feel abandoned by your boyfriend/girlfriend. So, I'm done. Have a nice life, Wood", you growled angrily, storming away.

You ran back to the Ravenclaw girls dormitory and cried into your knees when Luna, Skyler, Ally, and Lizzy came in. They all had looks of sympathy and came over to comfort me.

"He forgot my birthday and he was out in the Quidditch field practicing for Friday", you cried into Luna's shoulder. Lizzy and Ally rubbed your back while Luna and Skyler tried to console you.

*****2 weeks Later*****

You just stared blankly at the wall, ignoring everyone and everything that had to deal with the world. Luna and your friends tried coaxing you to leave the dormitory or at least to leave your bed, you just simply ignored them.

"You need to see Oliver, (Y/N/N). He rarely goes to Quidditch practice anymore and he's the Gryffindor captain. (Y/N), he's as bad you right now. All he does is eat, drink, sleep and repeat, but all you do is sit here and ignore the world. Please go and talk to him at least, (Y/N). He needs you as much as you need him, plus your grades are dropping (Y/N)", Luna said.

You slowly raised your dull like eyes and stared at Luna blankly before standing up then leaving the girls dormitory and went to the Great Hall for dinner. You got looks of shock, you basically looked like a corpse version of yourself. You sat down and ate some food, drinking some water as well when someone tapped on your shoulder. You turned around and saw that Oliver was standing there with red and puffy eyes from crying you assume, he looked pale and ghostly.

"O-O-Oliver", you stammered hoarsely, speaking for the first time in 2 weeks.

"(Y/N)", he replied just as hoarsely.

"I'm sorry Oliver", you cried, wrapping your arms around his neck.

"No, I'm sorry (Y/N). I shouldn't have neglected you, I just got caught up in our schedule that I didn't realize what I was doing. It's my fault, I also forgot your birthday which isn't okay either. I'm sorry and you'd make me the happiest person in the world if you'd take me back", Oliver apologized.

"Oh Oliver, of course I will. I can't live without you and you are the one I'm meant to be with. I love, I-I love you Oliver, Oliver Wood", you answered, kissing him on the lips.

Everyone started clapping and Oliver agreed to go back to Quidditch and still have time for you. You promised to get your grades back and to make sure he goes back to each and every Quidditch practice. That's when you two knew that you'd never live without the other.
