Wes POV:
The ride to the hospital seemed like the longest trip ever. Seeing her lifeless body laid on the stretcher made it even longer. What if I never get to see her again? The one time I get the chance to have my true love something gets in the way. We finally arrive to the hospital, Mari is quickly rolled out of the ambulance into the ICU. One doctor walked me into the waiting room sitting down with me.
Doctor- What happened?
W- (explains)
D- she saved all of those people's lives by shooting him, she is a hero.
W- what is going to happen to her, will she live??
D- She is being prepared for surgery as we speak, it is too early to tell if she will live, but she is very strong to have made it this far.
W- ya she is, she is strong
I had so many thoughts going through my head:
What if she doesn't make it? What will I do without her? Why didn't I help her fight him?
Mari saved me and all the people in the cafe, if she doesn't make it out alive, I don't know if I will be able to carry on. I loved her so much and she loved me, she loved me enough to take her life for me.
I called Flitz, and Lasercorn to come to the hospital
Once they arrived I explained what happened.
F- I know I should be asking if she is OK, but first of all why were you to out together alone on a Saturday?
L- Oh My god did she stay over with you? Did you guys do it? ARE YOU DATING? (He yelled)
W- yes, yes, and yes
F- for how long?
W- like a couple days.
L- only a couple days and you already slept together. Good job Wes (he smirked)
W- can we not focus on this my girlfriend could die.
F- Your
L and F- GIRLFRIEND!!!
W- ya girlfriend I told you already
F- i'm just surprised you admitted it to us, but I'm proud of you any guy would be lucky to date Mari.
W- ya I know she is amazing
