Chapter One: The Meaning of Royalty

This brutal war started many years ago, between Heaven and Hell, Angels and Vampires on the Planet of Noel. No one really knew how this maddness began, some people say their ancestors started the mess or that the two Kings fought over a woman, no one had an explaination not even the kings or maybe they were hiding something from their people. The two kingdoms lived in prosperity treating one another as equals. It was a wonderful time of peace unitil the two royal families went on a rampage. King Aurthor and King Deon turned to bloodthirsty animals going at each others throats. This war went on for years, there was blood shed, lives lost, and hearts broken. In time two princes were born to carry out their father's biting, Prince Kaname and Prince Caelan

Kaname Dren, Prince of the Vampires, Caelan Devi, Prince of the Angels have yet to meet hearing some many things of each other but never meeting eye to eye. Their families are determind to keep their distance from each other unless they are upon the battle field.

The sound of guns going off and pain filled screams echoed through the battle field. Kaname rode the horse of his father's. He wore jet black pants and shirt and something wrapped around him that resembled a cape. It seemed as if every few minutes he ejected an arrow from his back and shot it at one the holy beings. He rode shotting arows showing no hint mercy nor hesitation, no one knew how to shoot an arrow like Kaname. Kaname panted like a worn out dog yet he rode with no worry untill his horse was shot down Kaname and his horse fell to the ground. He groaned in pain as he quickly stood up emerging arrows from his back shooting at every angel that came as a threat.

Kaname turned to run when he slammed right into someone. Kaname took a step back. "Oww!" He said aloud rubbing his head. He looked up seeing a tall male holding a triumphet sword. The strange male stood tall rubbing his head. "Watch where you're going!!" He said. The male looked up at Kaname. His eyes were beautiful, they reminded Kaname of a bright, blue, and beautiful ocean. Kaname back to his senses ignoring the saturated feeling. Caelan shook his head as he looked into the stranger's eyes. They were bright red, red as blood to Caelan it was a beautiful color. Caelan stared into them. Kaname snared quickly pulling a arrow shooting at him. Caelan's eyes widened as he came to his senses. He dodged the arrow. Kaname pulled another and shot. The male dogded once again charging at Kaname. Kaname jumped back shooting once again and for the first time missed. Caelan took his sword and attempted to slice through him. Kaname dodged still getting slightly cut through his chest. Kaname stepping back. He pulled another arrow before he could shoot out of no where the male grabbed his wrist gripping it with unbelieveible strength. Kaname winced in pain. Caelan held his sword to the male's throat as he deeply into the male's eyes, they were such a beautiful shade of red.

Out of no where something stabbed Caelan from behind. Caelan's eyes widened as he fell to one knee losening his grip on Kaname. Kaname's eyes widened looking at the mysterious figure standing behind him. Kaname thought to himself for a minute. '.....Why didn't he attack me? Maybe he isn't a threat....' He thought himself. He pulled the arrow back shooting the male that stood tall behind. At that very moment Kaname heard his father. "Retreat!!!" His father screamed. Kaname looked down at the stranger. If he wasn't a threat then it wouldn't hurt. Kaname whistled, he horse ran to his aid. Kaname lifted the strange onto his horse as he did himself. He rode as did all the vampires that survived. He rode untill he got to his palace. He jumped off the horse carrying the male a bit worried that his father wouldn't see him.

Out of no where someone screamed runing up to Kaname. "Hi Kaname!!" She screamed. It was the maid, Hannah. "Shush Hannah!" He whispered. Hannah looked down. "That's an Angel!" She said. Kaname growled. "Hannah shut up! I don't want my father to know". He responded. Hannah nodded and let him pass. Kaname quietly carried him through the door, up the stairs to his room. He walked in quietly closing the door behind. His room was enormous. He lay the male on the huge, red sheeted bed, with a night stand covered with roses sitting next to him. Kaname took off his gear. he walked over to the bed and sat next to him.

Kaname undressed the male stopping at his waist. He leaned down and licked his wounds. Kaname always had the ability to heal with his siliva. After a few moments his wounds healed completely. He lat domn next to the stranger hoping he wouldn't die.
