King's POV: Finally, a bit of peace and quiet after all that. Well, not for long I bet, I called one of my old friends around for supper. He's a very special lad, but...he's also quite close to our love birds. He'll be very happy to see them again.
Robin: So remind me why we're setting the table again?
Ava: I told you a thousand times already, we have guests coming over to dine with us. We have to look presentable for them.
Jestro: I never knew we had guests coming. Who are they?
Ava: I don't know myself, Jestro. But we've met them before.
Jestro: Oh...well okay, I'd better go wake up Curtis, he'd love to meet them. *Rushes upstairs*
Robin: You should've told him, he'd be so happy!
Ava: Keep your voice down, the King wanted it to be a surprise and it's going to stay that way.
*The door bell rings.*
King: I'll get it!
*The King opens the castle doors and welcomes the guests inside, they begin to have a chat while they walk to the dining hall.*
Axl: So, have any idea about who they might be?
Jade: Nope, but I hope they're friendly.
Carlos: And if they aren't then they'll get whats coming to them!
Jade: Calm down, we'll only resort to that if we need to.
King: Guys, I want you to say hello to our guests.
*The King waves the guests through the door. As they enter Clay, Jestro, Carlos and Jade's eyes go wide."
Jestro: D...dad?
Duncan: Surprise! Been a while hasn't it?
Carlos: Dad!
*All of the kids rush up and hug their father tightly. But Clay is starring at someone else.*
Clay: Is that really you?
???: Yes, it really is us, my son.
Clay: I can't believe it! You're back! *Hugs his parents.*
???: We missed you too, Clay. So did your brother.
Clay: My brother? You mean Jamie?
Jamie: Right here, bro.
Clay: *Smirks* Same as always huh?
Jamie: You know it!
*But Clay's eyes grow wider as he noticed his brother looked different to how he used to look.*
Clay: J...Jamie...what happened to you?
Jamie: Well, I had a incident with a snake and it kinda mucked up my skin, but i'm fine.
Aaron: Alright, let's dig in!
*Everyone sits down at the table, starts eating and chatting away.*
Duncan: So this is our grandson, he's so cute!
Curtis: *Playfully pokes Duncan in the nose and giggles.*
???: He's our grandson too, Duncan.
Duncan: I know, Jake. You and Kiara both get your turn, just a moment.
Jake: Just as clingy as ever.
Duncan: Hey, I can't lose another family member. I lost my wife to that wretched creature and I'm not losing my grandson.
Clay: Jestro, your mother died? I'm so sorry, I had no idea.
Jestro: It's fine, Clay. But...the reason why she died is way more personal.
Clay: Is it okay to tell me now? You don't have to if you don't want.
Jestro: It's fine. You see, my father and mother went to go fight in a war against another Mircuol. During that war, she was pregnant with me. Near the end of the war, my mother went into labor. I was born quite weak, but my mother...she....she didn't survive. She died soon after I was born.
Clay: Wow, I had no idea, i'm so sorry about your loss.
Jestro: It's alright, at least she's happy up there.
Clay: I hope so.
*The gang continue to dig in and party the night away. Seeing the Knights catch up with family really warmed up their hearts again.*
*Okay F4ns, I'm SO sorry for another long wait. I just keep forgetting to write it, school keeps distracting me. But, I got it s=done and it's the fact that I did it now than never...right?*
*If you wanna see Jamie, look down. He's Clay's OLDER brother, yes OLDER!*
