Chapter 4

I woke up the next day for school. I walked into school and I see Jesse with some other girl as his friend. "Sherryl, I heard rumors that Jesse might like that girl over there." Selena said. "Really?" I asked with tears in my eyes. "Girl, it's okay." She said, hugging me. Jesse saw me crying. He ran over. "Sherryl, what's wrong?" Jesse asked. "You liek her?!" I said, pointing to the girl. He looked at her the nlooked at me. "W-what? Sherryl, I don't like her!! We're just friends. Where did you hear this from?" He asked, concerned. "Selena told me, Jesse, who else?" I said in an angry tone.  "So, your saying that there have been rumors going around about me and Ashley?" He asked with his hands on his hips. "Duh, Jesse!" Selena said. "Why do you think everybody is talking about it?" I said, with my arms crossed. "Sherryl, listen, I don't like Ashley like that okay?" He said. I got my books. "I hate you Jesse McCartney!!!!!" I shouted. I walked away. "See what you did? I thought you were our friend, Jesse." Selena said walking away. "Sherryl, wait up!" Selena said. "Sherryl! Please, let me explain." Jesse said, following us. "What is there to explain, Jess?" I asked him. He looked at me. "You like Ashley, end of story." I said. I walked to class. I didn't talk to Jesse all day. After school, I went home and I thought about the rumor that was going around. Was it true? Or was it all a lie? I have a lot of feelings for Jesse, but I wasn't sure if he felt the same way. That was why I was mad at him. I felt sorry for yelling at Jesse and not talking to him, but him liking Ashley was a big boiling point for me. I went to bed and I calmed down.
