I was never considered to be one of those beautiful girls who stood out in the crowd. I don't have guys flocking to me in the hallways or girls trying to be my friends. I am an average dork and I have come to accept that. I am 17 years old and a senior at Ride High School. My name is Blaze and I have long brown hair, green eyes, and I'm 5'8". I gave up a long time a go trying to fit in or be like everyone else. These days I'm happy to be myself and spending all my time in freezing hockey rinks for my sister or lacrosse turf fields for myself. My sister plays for an amazing hockey team called the Devils who travel all over the U.S. and Canada to play other teams. When I'm not with her and my family at ice rinks I am playing lacrosse. Lax is my life. I play for a travel team called the Lady Warriors and I play goalie. Its crazy to think a small girl of only 100 pounds could stop anything in net but I've playing since I was 4 years old and I can handle myself just fine. The only problem with sports is that it has effected me grades and social life terribly. I'm failing 3 of my classes and friends off the field are non-existent. This all changed my senior year of high school. Enough with the introduction and I'll tell you just how things changed.

"Class you are dismissed. Blaze could you and Justin please stay after class for a moment?"
I wonder why my English teacher Mr. Mack wanted me to stay after. Probably had something to do with the fact that I was failing English but why would he want Justin to stay too? Justin is one of the most popular guys at school along with his twin brother Jason. Everyone knows them as the Pilot brothers. Justin is the overall All-American guy. He has perfect grades, is the star on the lacrosse, team and is super popular. Jason, his brother, on the other hand is the schools legendary bad boy who is hot headed on the ice hockey rink.
"Blaze did you hear me?" Mr. Mack says as Justin begins to chuckle. I snap out of my day dream and respond "of course Mr. Mack.""So you are okay with Justin tutoring you because you don't really have a choice."
Hold up... what?! I can not have Justin as my tutor. I'm a social outcast and well he is Justin one of the two legendary pilot brothers! Before I have a chance to respond though Mr. Mack dismisses us and I found my self standing face to face with Justin.
AUTHORS NOTE: sorryyyy it's been so long! Massive writers block!
"didn't your mom ever tell you it's rude to stare?" Justin said.
