I tried to hold back my coughs as I was pulled into the room.
The air was heavy with smoke and the scent of sweat and alcohol. Every man in the room had something with "XO" on it and a woman in their lap.
As soon as the man who had brought me in here, a slutty-ass looking woman was on him almost instantly.
He shoved her off and scowled, waving me over to sit next to him.
I hesitated at first, but eventually walked over and sat next to him.
"Want a smoke?"
I shrugged. From the looks of it, they had pretty strong shit.
"I guess. I don't know if I can handle your shit, but I'll try. "
He chuckled and reached into his pocket, pulling a rolled blunt out and lighting it. He took a deep puff before handing it to me.
I paused for a moment.
"I still don't know your name," I said.
"It doesn't matter who I am."
"What if I want to be your friend?"
"You don't know me."
"I would if you'd answer my questions. "
He chuckled and pushed the blunt into my mouth.
"Chill out," he murmured as a took a shallow inhale from the joint.
It burned my throat and lungs, but it seemed like I could already feel the high.
He chuckled as I coughed.
I had been able to taste the liquor on his lips from where he had taken a hit.
"Your lips taste good," I said softly.
"How would you know?"
"You hit the blunt before me," I said, taking another short puff.
He grinned.
"Did you like it?"I shrugged. Before I could get any words out, his lips were pressed against mine, soft and gentle.
I kissed back, sliding my hand to the back of his neck.
"It's Abel," he breathed against my lips, "And I'm so glad we're acquainted."
