- Astrid November Bellaire -

I was walking down the busy hallway of Golden Fields High, wrapped up in the cozy warmth of my hoodie, since it's already Winter Season.

Students I passed gave different reactions when they saw me, some smiled and waved, while others, gave me a glare or a scowl.

You can probably tell that my school is filled with a bunch of stereotypes.

As I reached my locker, something was there which is just... The worst thing to see, ever.

Dana Summers, the Uptown Girl, and as expected, Tristan Nereus Hildon, a.k.a. GFH's Heartbreaker, sucking each others faces like there's no tomorrow.

Well, they can continue acting like hungry pigs later because I need to open my locker. So I walked up to them at tapped Tristan's shoulder.

They froze, as if they only realized just now that they were making out in public.

Tristan turned around and faced me, showing off that annoying smirk that seemed to have the power to irritate me always.

"Hey, Cupid! What brings you here?" He greeted me, calling me by the name I was known of.

"My books is what brought me here, and the fact that there isn't much time left until first period, so I would totally appreciate if you get out of my sight." I said, controlling my temper.

Dana's face flushed deep red, looking down in embarrassment, while tugging Tristan's sleeve as a signal saying 'let's get outta here' But Tristan being himself, just swatted her away, resulting her to stomp away and head to class alone.

"Aww, Is little Cupid jealous?" He asked with a mocking grin that makes me wanna smack him on the wall multiple times to remind him of the girls who went crying and ranting on and on about his shitty attitude.

"Zip it, jerkface, and I'm certainly not "little" and jealous, because let's face it, you're too used to make a girl like me love you." Making air quotations and pushing him off my locker and opening it, revealing its contents and my books.

I was about to walk to class when his words caught my attention.

"A girl like you who is lonely and spends her time being called "the love expert" that can't even make her own lovelife work? I don't entertain girls like you, sorry not sorry." He answered, giving me a teasing look, then walked away with his hand inside both pockets of his jeans, as if nothing happened.

His words woke me up like a bucket of ice cold water was poured over me, and suddenly a feeling of loneliness washed over me, agreeing on what he said.

I stood there, alone, realizing that playing Cupid, watching people fall inlove gives a reason for my existence.

But regardless of how many arrows I fire, not one of those are for me.

So I walked to my class, still trying to forget Tristan's words, which stayed at the back of my mind for the whole day.
