Chapter One

Peters' POV
"Come on guys it's time to get up and get ready for school" I yell through the doors of everyone's rooms.
"Coming poppa" is what I hear from all four kids.
"Hey Pete are the kids coming" is what I hear my wonderful husband say.
"Ya Wade they're coming" I say to him.
"Good cuz breakfast is ready" he says to me as he sets some of the food down on the table.
I'm ready Poppa" says Lynnella coming out of her room.
"Good now go eat breakfast, you have school today" I say to her.
"I know and look I got dressed all by myself" she says as she walks to the kitchen.
"That's great except your shirt is on backwards there sweetie, let me fix that for you" says Wade as he picks her up and swings her around and puts her back down, then has her lift her arms up as he fixes her shirt for her. "Thanks daddy" she says as she kisses his cheek and sits down at the table.
"You're welcome, now eat you don't want to be late for the bus right?" he asks and she shakes her head no.
"Come on boys hurry up your sister beat you, and I thought that she was the slow one" I say.
"I'm coming poppa" Nick says as he walks out of his room and into the kitchen and sits down at the table and starts eating.
"Well at least we have one half of the kids now all we need is the other half" says Wade as he continues making breakfast.
"We're ready Poppa" says Oliver and Nate. "Good now eat I don't want you guys to be late" I say as I pour some coffee in a mug.
"Hey Pete what are you doing today" Wade asks me.

"I don't know I was planning on doing a little bit of Christmas shopping after I go see my Dads, I have no idea what to get my dads" I say as I sit down and start eating.
"Don't worry you'll think of something Poppa" Oliver says as gets up and puts his dirty dishes in the sink.
"Ya I suppose you're right, I mean Christmas is still two weeks away" I say as the the rest of the kids finish eating and get up to put their dishes in the sink as well.
"Okay guys go wash up, brush your teeth, and by the time you're done the bus should be here" I say as the kids finish put their dishes and walk to the bathroom.

Wades' POV
"Hey Pete what are you getting the kids for Christmas" I asks him as I sit down to eat and he gets up and starts to do the dishes.
"I have ideas for each of them, I just need to make final decisions on them" he says as the kids come back and walk to the door to put their winter gear on.
"Okay guys, are you ready to go" I ask them as Peter and I put on our jackets, they nod their heads and we walk out the door behind the kids. We walk them to the bus stop and wait for the bus.
"Daddy what are going to do today" Oliver asks me as the bus pulls up to the stop.
"I am going to hang up the Christmas lights and do some running around town today" I say as each of the kids hug us and get on the bus.
"That's good, have fun today Daddy and Poppa" Oliver says he gets on the bus.
"Thanks bud don't get into trouble and have a good day" I say as he gets on and the door closes and the bus pulls away.

"Now that the kids are gone, what are we going to do" I say to Peter as we walk back inside.
"I don't know but right now I have to go to the tower and catch my dads before they go to D.C." he says as puts his jacket back on.
"You're going to leave me alone" I say teasing him.
"Yes but I won't be long, I know, why don't you start getting all of the Christmas decorations out of the basement and get them ready so when we come back from tree shopping after school we can start decorating right away" he says as he kisses me.
"Ya that sounds like a good idea, okay see you later" I say as he kisses me one more time and then he walks out the door.
