7:00 P.M.
Everyone had arrived at Carlotta and Vincenzo's home and the tension was already thick.Vincenzo and Dominic would've killed each other already if it wasn't for Carlotta.She had them stay far away from each other.
Carlotta was so busy trying to keep them away from each other,she'd barely paid attention to any of the females that were brought.
"Everyone can go and wash their hands.Dinner is ready."Carlotta said and then said a silent prayer in her head.Everyone went to wash their hands and all sat at the table.
"Donata would you like to pray over the table?"
"Not a problem."she smiled and stood up,"Everyone grab hands."
"Dear Lord,thank you for this meal that we are about to receive.I thank you that we are all here as a family and that you have given us the chance to be able to.I pray that you continue to heal us and let us progress in our lives.Amen."
Amens were heard throughout the room and Donata sat down.Everyone began passing around the food and putting it on their plate,Chaz already digging into his.
As everyone began eating,Carlotta began to speak.
"Anybody want to introduce their girlfriends?"she asked.
"Well since you're always on my ass about relationships,I'll go first.Mom,this is Olivia.We've been together for five months but we've known each other since high school.We live together as well."
"Nice to meet you Mrs.Cavallo."Olivia said, waiting for that to be how she was addressed one day.
"Live together?"
"Yep."
"Are you sure it's not too early?"
"Positive."
"I feel that it is."
"Carlotta leave them alone.You used to get on that boy all the time about having a girlfriend and settling down.If he's happy let him be."Donata spoke.
"If you say so.Basilio would you like to introduce your girlfriend?"
Dominic held a stale face and then let it go.She was never satisfied was she?
"Wait a minute,it's a problem that we moved in?I'm in the mood to debate.What's up?"Dominic spoke defensively.
"I just feel that it's too early to move in together."
"And I felt that you shouldn't be with this nigga but we don't listen now do we?"
"Oop."Donata grabbed her wine and sipped it.
"Dominic don't start.Get over it.Basilio,introduce your girlfriend."
"Ummm well okay then.This is Zia or Zi and we've been together for about four months now."
"Nice to meet you."Zia smiled.
"Likewise."
"Guess it's my turn,this is Summer."Grey began,"We live together also and we've been together for six months."
"What is with this moving in so early?"Carlotta asked,throwing slight shade.
"What's with the going back to what hurt you?"Dominic asked and sipped some of his water.
"Dom!"Luciana cut in.
"Shots fired."Chaz smirked.
Donata laughed,"Good one nephew."she reached over and high-fived him.
