Chapter 8- Everyone Has Issues

Kiley's POV

I went downstairs to find a waiting Liam and Louis.

"I'm ready now.", I say to the both of them.

"Ok. Mates, we're going out. We'll be back whenever!!", Louis shouts from the doorway.

I heard a chorus of "Ok Louis'"from everywhere. We walked outside, it was cloudy and ominous. The clouds were a dark shade of grey. It was cool and breezy. Shivers went throughout my small body.

"Ok Kiley, we're going to have to have to use our fast vampiric speed to get to the nearest mall, which is 10 miles away. Who do you want to be carried by?", Louis piped.

"Ummm, 2 things. First, I'll be carried by Liam and second, shouldn't you be concerned about using your vampire speed? You might get caught.

He chuckled and answered back, "Oh Kiley, love, we won't get caught; if we do, I'll just get a quick bite."

He revealed his white fangs when he got to the part about getting caught. That was really creepy. My stomach flipped inside. He then smirked at me.

"Shall we get going now?", Liam interjected.

I could tell something was up. He wasn't acting his usual self. Oh well...

I nodded and then Liam picked me up bridal style.

"Ready Lou?", he asked to Louis, looking over his shoulder.

Louis nodded in agreement and then we raced across the woods.

It was all a blur to me. I held onto Liam tight as my head rested in the crook of his neck. The wind blew hard against me. After what seemed like 5 minutes of their running, we arrived in some near bushes.

I gently slipped out of Liam's arms and tried to fix my mess of hair. After fixing my hair quickly, we started walking up to the large, glass doors at the front of the mall.

As I opened the door, a warm and pleasant air hits me. Looking around, the stores are open with people buying and checking out.

"So, where do ya want to go first, love?", Louis asked looking at me.

I wanted to go to so many shops, honestly. I have to buy clothes, shoes, accessories, and personal items.

"Ummm, can we go to Forever 21 first?", I asked nervously.

"Sure, darling.", he replied.

I feel so uncomfortable around Louis right now. I know he's just going to come over to me and bite me until I'm nothing left. Thank goodness Liam is here. I don't know what I'd do without him. However, he's acting a bit strange.

"Earth to Kiley!!", Louis semi-yelled at me, snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Oh, sorry, what did you say?", I asked turning toward him.

"I asked if you wanted to go to the Food Court later for lunch.", he asked with a lot of sass in his voice.

"Should we get going now!?", Liam interjected again.

"Liam's right. Let's go.", I answered back rather proud of myself; and with that, I sashayed over to the store.

It's her. It's Kiley. I can't get her out of my mind. I know she hates me, but I really, and I mean, really like her; but there's one thing getting in my way.
