The lights blared down on me as I stared at the crowds of people in the stands who were chatting animatedly. Sighing contently, I sat on a black comfortable couch and gave a quick greeting to a redhead who started the show immediately afterwards.
"Hello everybody and welcome to Watts Happening! Tonight we have a very special guest... Jessica Hefferman!" I smiled and waved as the crowd cheered, their excitement was tangible. "Hey guys!" I exclaimed happily.
"Okay, let's get this show on the road! So Jessica, how does it feel to be cast as one of the main characters in the exclusive book of Late Night Community Service," the redhead questioned, grinning at me.
"It's amazing. I love being able to work with all of the characters! Their awesome and it's all a dream come true." I told her honestly and the crowd cheered as a response. "Great! Have you become particularly close with any if them?"
"Oh yeah, all of them are already like family, but I've come the closest with Chris. He's a great guy and really fun to hang out with," I told her happily. Her grin became suspicious as she leant forward. "Do you think there's a future as something else for you two?" I chuckled at her eagerness. "Naw, just friends." The crowd booed. "I'm sorry! He's just like a brother to me so it would be really awkward."
"You heard her folks! And that's, Watts Happening!"
