Chapter 1: Brake Down

"ugh!" I Groaned hitting the steering wheel in my car before turning around in my seat to look at My daughter Faye in the backseat, I wasn't married, I had been a victim of rape around 6 years ago, and she was the result, I still loved her with all my heart and vowed to keep her safe, she's a lot like me, except a little more shy, "Faye, we have to get out, gather anything you have that you don't want to get stolen and put it in your backpack, the car broke down"

"Okie mommy," she took her Teddy Bear and A baby Koala Plushie that used to be mine and put it in her backpack, along with her water bottle and zip lock bag with dry cereal in it, she got out and came over to my side waiting for me to grab her blanket for her, a fluffy light blue Blanket with a golden retriever puppy printed on it, I picked it up from the passenger seat and gave it to her, while she put it in her backpack I took the spare car key off of the key chain and put it in the key slot, putting on all of my lights, I checked I had my wallet and my purse and what-not before picking up Faye and running towards the neighborhood, it was raining and cold.

I started walking when we reached it and started looking for a house with lights on, I finally saw one that looked like a one story with maybe a basement, I walked up to it and, holding Faye in one arm, knocked on the door, a guy with dark blue hair and eyes answered, 

"uhhh Garroth, Travis? I think it's for you!" He looked a bit confused

"Uh no I don't know anyone who lives here, my car broke down a little bit away from here and-" A man with White hair and emerald green eyes walked to the door,

"Heeeyyyyyyyyy beautiful" My grip around Faye tightened and I backed up a couple inches looking at him suspiciously, 

"Travis!" The blue haired man yelled at the one with the white hair,

"Whhhhhhaattttt," He acted like he did nothing wrong which made me smile, but I still stayed on guard

"Travis! What are you doing now?!?" A voice yelled and A blonde man with light blue eyes asked as he appeared at the doorway,

"uh I think I'll just find somewhere else, thanks..." I said backing down the steps,

"wait,"  The blue haired man said, "you said your car broke down?"

"yeah? why?" I asked confused

"go to that house," he pointed to a bigger house across the street that was tannish with a red door, it looked like a two-story and there seemed to be a light coming from the house "there's a girl there that has had this happen to her quite a few times before"

"Thanks," I said smiling before checking for no cars and dashing across the road, reaching the front door, I knocked and heard two voices saying 'Not It!' and then feet running, a girl with Light blue hair and eyes answered the door "uh hi, my car broke down, a bit down the street, and I was wondering if you could help, My phone isn't activated so I couldn't call anyone when it happened,"

"Aphmau, Kawaii~Chan! Get down here!" She yelled up the staircase a bit away from the door and two girls ran downstairs both in pajamas, one that was half cat with pink hair, tail, and ears and gold eyes, another with black hair and brownish-gold eyes, 

"What is it Katelyn~Sama? Kawaii~Chan's tired" The one with pink hair and gold eyes whined

"Yea Katelyn, Im tired what is it?" The one with black hair asked,

"This girls' car broke down," she gestured to me and I waved and smiled, switching Faye to my other arm and hanging my free one at my side, the girls instantly ran upstairs, they came back down in a few minutes when warmer clothes and jackets, and they ran by the blue haired girl, who I presumed to be katelyn's side, "so where's your car?" she asked

"Follow me" I said and started running towards where my car was, when I noticed they wernt keeping up I stopped and waited, 

"how do you run so fast?!?" The Black haired girl asked,

"ehhhhh, practise?" I said, not wanting to explain, I started walking beside her, "so whats your name?"

"Aphmau but you can call me Aph, Thats kawaii~chan," she said pointing to the pink haired girl, "and I presuming you've already figured out who katelyn is," she said nodding towards her, I laughed a little, my car came into view, same as I had left it from what I could see, when we got a bit closer I noticed a window was smashed, but nothing was missing, I set Faye down right beside me, she hugged my leg, staying right by me, I opened the driver door and popped the hood, Katelyn went and looked at it,

"Motors broken, sorry,"

"nah, its fine, but do you know if theres a hotel or anything nearby?"

"Nope there isnt one anywhere near hear, you could stay at our place if you want though," Kawaii~chan looked like she was gonna protest but she didn't

"I mean I guess thats okay, as long as I can have her by me" I said brushing the hair out of faye's face,

"why wouldnt you be able to?" Aphmau said confused,

"I don't know, reasons?" I said laughing a little,

"anyways, i'll call a tow-truck to get your car, are you sur theres nothing you want in it?"

"I'll double check," I said  popping the trunk to check nothing was in there, there was a bag pf clothes that would probably come in handy, I picked the bag up and took my phone charger out of the car stuffing it in my pocket, "Faye are you SURE you have everything?" she opened one of the backseat doors and took the rest of the stuffed animals she had stuffing them in her backback, then grabbed her grocery bag with her clothes in it, and closed the door, I reached in the front driver seat taking the key out but leaving the door open so the light would stay on, I nodded to Katelyn, Aphmau, and Kawaii~chan, and then keeping Faye close, I walked with them back to there house.

"I never asked your name," Aph told me as we entered the house, 

"well Im Rene and this is Faye," I said nodding to my daughter "anyways where will me and Faye be sleeping?" I asked "Im sure shes tired"

"You can sleep on the couch or make a bed on the floor, I have a spare blanket for you," Aph said running upstairs, and coming back down hold a purple quilt,

"Thank you," I said taking the blanket "Im not gonna go to sleep for awhile though, so you guys can go to your rooms or whatever" Kawaii~Chan and Katelyn ran upstairs just as i finished saying that,

"The bathroom is right over there just in case you need it," Aph said pointing to a a door only a bit away from me, "Im gonna go to bed, see ya in the morning" she smiled and waved goodbye as she ran up the stairs to where im assuming her bedroom is, I lied, I was going to bed right away, I layed down and Faye layed down beside me by the back of the couch, I concealed her completely with the blanket and fell asleep afterwards.
