(Day 2)
He took a seat in front of the piano and hovered his fingers over the keyboard. Satoshi sighed and lightly pressed a key, causing a small noise to ring throughout the orchestra room. As he fixed himself into a comfortable position, he began to play.
Love's Sorrow. That was the name of the piece he played. A piece created by Fritz Kleiser in the Alt-Wiener Tanzweisen collection. A classic.
His fingers stroked the piano keys as he played, producing a professional-like sound. With the way he played the piano, specifically the piece, it let off a vibe that was despairing; played by someone lonely, who only wished to be loved.
Satoshi sniffled a bit as he played on and on throughout the piece, until it finally ended. He stopped, letting it ring for a few seconds before lifting his fingers from the keyboard. Sniffling, he sat up straight, wiping his eyes and mumbling to himself, "I-Its alright now.."
"Why weren't you alright before?" a familiar voice sounded from behind.
Satoshi spun around to see who it was. He looked back, his eyes surrounded by a red you would only get from crying. There, at the doorway, stood Aron. The boy he'd met the day before.
"You seem like a nice person; Ann likes you." Aron continued, "It's a wonder you're not popular with the way you play that thing."
Satoshi looked at him, slightly surprised. There was a sullen look in his eyes as he spoke, though he gave a gentle smile. "Well.. Looks can be deceiving.."
"Well, yeah, but the way you play the piano isn't deceiving." he spoke up, "Why are you so sad?"
"I-I, uh.. C-Can't say.." he said, his eyes becoming a bit soulless.
"It's alright, we all have long stories. There was no rule that said you had to tell me anyway." his eyes softened as he slid to the keys of the piano, "If you don't wanna tell me, then don't."
Ann gave a small hiss as she slid out from Aron's sleeve and onto he chair. She seemed calm.
"A-Alright.." he said, his eyes normal again. "Everyone's hating me is for the best, I suppose."
"Don't worry, everyone hates me as well. I honestly kinda like it.. Most of the time." Aron gently pressed a key. He had pressed it light enough to where it didn't make a sound.
Ann hissed, slithering over onto Satoshi's leg. Satoshi asked, a bit nervous, "U-Uh, what's your snake doing..?"
His eyes shifted over towards Ann, "Oh, Ann. She does seem to like you alot, did I not mention that before? Usually she wouldn't go to a stranger, and would normally snap at them. She doesn't usually like anyone but me. Safe to say, you've struck to her liking."
"I guess that's good then..." he sighed. His eyes returned to their normal state now. The school bell rung.
Satoshi sighed and began gathering his stuff, "It was nice talking with you..."
"A-ah...I...Yeah, it was nice to talk to you too!" A spike of sadness hit his heart by how quickly he was going away. Aron wanted to sit and keep talking with him. "We could...talk more after school, if you want?"
Ann slid off his lap when he stood up, hitting the floor and zipping into a hole in the wall.
Satoshi blushed and softly smiled as he made his way over to the door, "O-Of course."
Grinning he nodded, standing up."Alright then! M-Meet me by the Sakura tree again then! See you later, Satoshi!"
He thought to himself, "What did I just say? Gosh...Good going, Aron... he's probably going to run away too..."
"A-Alright, see you then." he smiled and walked off. Satoshi made his way over to the auditorium for class.
Aron walked along down the hall. He's got too much on his mind now to bother going to English class. "He's so...That boy's so strange. Not a single person has ever made me feel this way."
