CHAPTER 2 - The Moon Shadow Pack

(Emerald POV)

We were back to the road the next day. Chase is our driver. I, Val and Tristan are at the back of the car while Shade is at the drivers side.

Our ride is a personalized hi-ace van from Tristan's Alpha namely Jacob. Its a gift to help us to travel wherever we want to go. The seats are just fit for the five of us. The back of the car is where we put our things.

Our next stop is in the biggest pack here in Asia. A town full of wolves. They are the Moon Shadow Pack lead by a ruthless Alpha named Mio Redwood. He lead his pack at the age of 18 because his father wanted to retire early. With his many experiences at a very young age, Mio became what he is today.

Many Alpha fears his abilities but admires his good leadership skills. He was able to built unity with different packs from different parts of Asia.

At the boarder of the pack, we were welcome by a group of wolves.

I and Val are the first to come out of the car to greet them. A blonde boy with brown eyes walks towards us.

"Good day ladies, Im here to lead you to the Alpha House. Im Brent, the packs Beta." He introduced.

"Where's your Alpha?" I ask.

"He's still on his way home. The former Alpha will accommodate you while waiting for the arrival of our Alpha."

After introductions, Brent and his other companion accompanied us to the Alpha house where the former Alpha and the Luna resides.

The Luna and Alpha were standing at the front door of the house. Waiting for us to come in.

"Welcome to our pack." Said the Luna. "My name is Janine, and this is Gabriel, our former Alpha before my son. Please come inside so you could take a rest." She introduced then lead us inside the house. "Thank you for accompanying them, Brent." With that, Brent left leaving us with the Alpha and the Luna.

I noticed that the Alpha is so quite and shock to see us, like he see us, as a ghosts. "Whats wrong with the Alpha?" I asked Shade.

"Dont know." He answered back.

"I'll leave you with Gab here so I can prepare your snacks." The Luna said and went straight to the kitchen.

The moment the Luna disappeared, the Alpha talked and shocked as all.

"You all are a white wolf."

"What are you talking about?" I said innocently.

"I can see your marks." He stated.

"How were you able to see it if we're not showing you?" I asked looking at my companions.

"You're a Keeper." Shade answered.

"What the hell is a Keeper?" Val finally spoke.

"They are wolves granted to see the mark of a White Wolf when they meet one. Only selected wolves who are still loyal to the Royal Family can see it. I just could not believe that they still exist after all the packs we visited." It was Chase who answers Vals question.

"I'm still loyal to all the White Wolves after the Great War. That is why I can still see your marks. But you," he pointed at Tristan. "You're not pure but I can still see a mark different from the others."
