Special Chapter: Sakura Festival Fail

(y/n)'s POV

"Come on guys! We won't have any space when we get there." Hiyori excitingly said while skipping around waiting for us. "Calm down Hiyori, it's only 6:00am in the morning, *groans* it's impossible for people to be there in an early morning" Yato whined. We all nodded and groaned and also still sleepy. "Let's check the things first then." She smiled. "Oh no!" She said in surprised. "What?" I asked. "We left the foods at the shrine" she said tearfully. "WHAT?!" we all said in surprised. "It takes about half an hour to get back to the shrine, we'll be late and left out of space if we turn back now." Touma explained. "Yato! Didn't I told you to carry our foods?!" Hiyori shouted, pissed. Yato hid behind tenjin. "Well...it's no use, we have to go back" Master said. "All of us?" Yukine asked. "Yeah, Hiyori -san prepared a lot of food and we can't carry it our own." He sighed. We all nodded and got back.

-at shrine-

"Ahhhh!!!" I heard hiyori screamed. "Hiyori?!" Yato called out. "The food...it's all messed up!" She squealed. We all gasped. "What are we gonna do now?" Yukine asked. "I guess we will go there without any traditional foods then" she said while sighing. "No, we'll make another one" I suggested. "But, we will be late, we won't have enough space when we get there." Kofuku stated. "I guess we'll just watch it somewhere" I sighed. "But let's worry about the foods first" I added. "We'll clean up this mess" Yato stated. "Sure, we'll make the food". I stated.

We all gone to work at EVERYTHING! It took us an hour to get ready. Rushing, we packed the food.

"We're done! Let's go maybe there's still space!" Hiyori called out. We all ran, carefully me and hiyori walked a little faster.

We arrived at the field where it was full of people, we didn't saw an extra space for us to sit in, "well, I guess we should just go home." I sighed. "So much for a fireworks at the end" I mumbled.

"Wait" I heard Yukine called out. I turned around at him with the same expression."what?" I asked. "I think I know where to go"he smiled.

We went to a quiet but peaceful place with a cherry blossom planted by the field, it was quite windy though. "This was..." Bishamon whispered. "Yeah, I thought we visit him for awhile also." Yukine smiled. "'him?'" I asked. "Suzuha" bishamon smiled. "He was my friend back then, and bishamon's regalia." Yukine explained. "But he died from phantom's attacked" he added looking down. "I'm sorry to hear that." I said.

We all gathered to the tree and prayed for Suzuha. I never met him, but I wish I did. Maybe if he was here, I can imagine him, me, Yukine hanging out. I prayed for him, wishing he could be in a better place, happy and thanking him for keeping Yukine happy for once in a while.

After gathering up to the tree, we all placed the wide cloth in the field and prepared our foods. While preparing, the others were talking to each other and others playing or something like that.

After preparing, they all gathered up to the food once more, eyes sparkling, mouth drooling, it seems that they were hungry. "Itadakimasu!" They all said and began eating. As usual, Bishamon brought some sake for her and the gods to drink. Me and the other Regalias, and Hiyori, played a little game of truth or dare.

"Ok! Aiha-san it's your turn!" Hiyori pointed at Ahia, "truth or dare?" Hiyori asked. "Truth." She said sweatdropping. "Tell us, do you got some beef with Touma?!" She grinned evil-y. "W-we're just friends! What are you guys even think!" She defended. "Well, we kinda see it." I sweatdropped. We all laughed at Ahia except Touma whose embarrassed. We turned the bottle and it pointed at me. "Ok (y/n)! It's your turn!" Hiyori said excited. "Truth or dare?" She asked giggling. "Dare.?" I said hesitating. "I dare you to....." She thought then snapped her fingers. "Kiss Yukine for me!" She pointed out giggling devilishly. "Kiss, kiss, kiss" they all cheered, me, whose completely tomato now, embarrassed. "That's not fair!" I defended. "Yukine will have to do it then." Hiyori smirked. "W-what?!" He asked, surprised. "Go on Yukine, or you want me to do it." Touma smirked. I saw Aiha-san glaring at Yukine and seemed disappointed. "F-fine!" He said irritated. He faced me with his completely flustered face and said, "(y/n)." He said seriously. I blushed even more, I can see him getting closer and about to close his eyes. Closing my eyes also, I felt his breathing through my face. We are about to kiss, our lips almost touched until....

"WHOOOO! I WON YOU GRANDMA!" Yato shouted as he threw a bottle at us. "YOU CHEATED YOU DIRTY-OLD GOD" she shouted. Hiyori pissed, charged at Yato and stared beating him up.

Everyone, disappointed whined at each other. As I felt someone pulling me, I felt someone touching his lips against mine, as I saw Yukine. My eyes widened as he did it, we both pulled out, looking red, him and me looked away at each other. They all cheered and started jumping, unluckily, Kofuku took a picture and shared it to all of us. Pissed, I stared chasing Kofuku down. She laughed while laughing as me blushing, completely embarrassed still chasing her. They all laughed at us while Hiyori and master handling the two drunk war gods.

After chasing Kofuku down, I managed to let her delete the picture. After the picnic, we all came back home and went to our separate ways. Still walking with the others, I talked to Yukine. "Thanks for today" I said to him. He looked at me confused. "I mean, we wouldn't have this picnic without your idea" I smiled at him. He smiled and said. "Thanks." We both held hands as we walked going home, stars shining above us. "Hey" I called out. "Yeah?" He asked. "If a shooting star came, it means that we'll be together forever. All of us!" I smiled looking up. "Deal." He stated. We looked up in the sky and saw no shooting star, then, I saw a little firefly coming right at us. I thought it was a shooting star for a moment but I managed to catch the firefly and set it free at the end. "It counts" I stated, smiling. We both head home.

Not noticing, a shooting star came down from the sky.
