Chapter 1

"do your work properly Victoria!!!"I flinch at the sound of his voice that echoed in his private room, here in Cross hospital. Nakakatakot talaga siya, pero dibale kakayanin ko mahal ko naman eh.

"I'm sorry" I said in sincere way, my tears started to fall but I managed to wipe them before he can see it. Alam ko he doesn't care about me at ayos na ako don, kahit makita man lang sa araw araw buo na ang buhay ko.

He's Seth Arkin Vladimir, the smartest and the most renowned doctor in the world --he voluntarily worked in another country making people idolize him. I'm just a residence here since I have a low IQ. I failed board exam 4 times but that didn't stop me for achieving my dreams.

Knock...knock

"Come in" he gave authority in his voice as he said those words. "doctor...did I interrupt?" asked Yenna, another doctor in this hospital who has a high IQ.I can tell Seth has interest in her. His first love..I smiled bitterly, parang ako pa ata ang kontrabida dito para ako ata ang villain sa mala fairy tale na buhay nila. Pwede ba ako naman ang pilin mo Seth?

"doctors...I'll be leaving" I said and without waiting for there reply I shut the door. I look at the clipboard once again, aissh..I should work harder in order to achieve something. I should work harder para mapansin niya ako.

I went to my mini office in the hospital. I look at my clipboard and started to arrange the patients information, I also did take notes and study my books once again before typing my research in an email.

For how many hours, all I had to do was to keep researching about vampires. Yes, I am a cursed-vampire but I'm looking for the cure in order for me to uplift the curse. I am a natural born vampire with my parents being vampires for atleast a decades. Due to my curse, I don't have the strength nor speed like a vampire. All I am was having a behavior of a vampire. At yes, kaming mga bampira ay may dugo at tumitibok ang puso...pero tumitibok ang puso dahil sa biyaya ng aming mga ninunon. Weird diba? Kaya ba kaya ako ipagpalit ni Seth dahil mahina ako? wait?? who am I kidding...kelan ba naging kami?

I glance at the clock.

2:54 p.m

Aissh...I miss lunch already, may 6 minutes to attend the surgery ni Seth. Kinuha ko ang small notebook above the desk, and went to run to the ER.

Along with the other residence, Ethan and Ace, matatalino ang dalawa, gwapo, pero medyo turn off ang attitude. They're a player and a jerk pero who am I to judge? it's their life. Nakarating na ako don medyo naghahabol hinga pa.

"tsk...late na naman Victoria??"Ethan said in a mocking tone."You know dude, wala namang bago sakanya...kawawa nga lang palaging pinapagalitan"Ace added and the end up laughing. I just lowered my head and when it's time for us to enter the room. I readied my notebook and pen.

---time skip---
I'm checking the children in this hospital after the surgery forgetting that I have to eat my meal. It's day 3 I skip breakfast and lunch--that's because of the other doctors always putting pressure on me. After checking the children I went to Dr.Vladimir's office (Seth).

knock..knock..

"come in" still he had that authoritive voice that made you gonna tremble on your knees. I opened the door and immediately give him the clipboard that had the patients information, he checked it with a boring look.

"You can go" I nod not wanting to make him shout at me again. I just want to be accepted but why can't he?

*ggrgg*

At bakit ngayon pa naisip ng tiyan ko na sumisigaw sa gutom?? bakit pa?? nakakahiya

"Have you eaten your lunch?"I look at Dr.Vladimir "ahh--I forgot to" I said embarrassingly.
