Yarranhelk woods is a enchanted forest north east of Fiore behind the
mountains. It is an enchanted
forest that only wisards that have the right amount of magic energy can pass through if they don't fit the requirement than they will be stopped by an invisible force. The good news is They were sent by master because he knew they were strong enough. the bad news is they can't set up camp or start a fire because it is sacred land
"It's beautiful" says Wendy while gazing up at the trees. The bright green forest surounding them
"It's amazing!" Yells natsu
A vibrant and calming sun setted over the hill as Natsu, Lucy, Erza, grey, happy and Carla sat on a grassy cliff watching the sun disappear bellow the horizon. In a matter of minutes the sun was gone and the moon had appeared.
Stars twinkled and danced apon the night sky. In this Time Wendy and Carla had fallen asleep. Erza looked down at the two sleeping and smiled pleasentally.
"Let's climb the trees for the night" said Erza calmly
"What?" Asked Lucy
"I forgot to tell you but this is sacred land and we can't make a fire or set up camp so travelers sleep in the trees. DO not worry I have magic rope"
"I think you got ripped off. It looks just like normal rope" said grey smirking
"No. it's magic rope, the seller sold it to me for an exspencive price but it was worth it and he assured me it was magic rope. See!"
Erza flicked her arm out and hit a tree.
Not a scratch. Not even a noise.
"WHAT?! Once we head back to the guilt remind me to stop off at magic shop!" Her face went bright red with anger.
One after the other they climb up a tree leaving Happy to fly up with Carla and Natsu to climb up with Wendy. Happy quietly flys to a small opening in the leaves at the top of the tree, and with one big jump Natsu steps onto a high branch and then jump again to another and another and another until he finnally gets to the base of the tree. Once Natsu and happy get to the top they notice something strange. Instead of it being a bunch of branches they had to tie themselves to it was a solid wooden base with a big pile of hay with crochet blankets covering the spiky straw. There was a dresser with a pair of glasses and a letter that had drops of ink splattered around the page, the language was symbolised and in recognisable. On the dresser was a half melted candle.
"Did someone live here?" Asked grey
Looking around at the room
"Looks like it" says Erza staring up at leaves. "The leaves look like they were woven to make a wall and sealing
Affect"
Lucy walks to the dresser and slowly runs her fingers along the bare wooden dressers and stares at her fingers.
"Thats odd" whispers Lucy
"What is it?" Asks Natsu
"Oh um th-this note! It's symbolised it might be an ancient language" 'liar' she thought to herself. She hates lying but a lie or two can go a long way no matter if it's positive or negative. Lucy knew that she has told lies that have gotten her out of a tricky situation and in a couple bad situations too. She knew the conciquences of not telling them that the dresser was clean of dust and the ink of the note was fairly new, if something didn't feel wright and she was worried of the affects she would tell them and they would get the hell out of there but her detective side had come out and it was there to stay.
"Well since a bed is already set up might as well use it" said Erza crossing her arms and transforming into her cassule clothing, a navy blue skirt and white button up shirt.
Natsu looks down at Wendy curled up in a ball sleeping in his arms. He gently lowers Wendy onto the bed of hay along with Carla.
"Good Night guys" says Lucy through a yawn. As grey, Natsu and Erza snore loudly Lucy couldn't help but stay awake, if anyone was going to stop an intruder it was going to be her. I'll just close my eyes for now. Maybe a five minute nap...
She got to sleep as fast as she became a member of the guild. That night Lucy had a dream about Gajeel he was lying on the ground in the dirt with bloody clothing and he was sobbing loudly a wave of guilt and sadness crossed over her. He was crying the tears she cried when her mother died when her dad treated her badly. He cried the
tears of the ones that spil from brocken heart, the tears of insufferable lonelyness. It looked like he had fatal Wounds covering his whole body not and inch of clothing unsocked in his own blood. She stood from afar watching him cry and die on the floor, she felt helpless, she felt like she couldn't do anything. A slimy and cold felling came across her hands, she looked down at her hands, in her hands were puddles of blood dripping like streams onto the ground. in her palm laid a blood covered dagger with a big green emerald encraved into the handle, the emeralds colour faded out, her heart sank. the colour faded out
and came back pitch black the oosing colour burst through the emeralds crust poring out and dripping to the floor in a constant stream. tears fell
From her chin.
The black water climbed up her legs onto her face muffling her peircing scream.
Lucy Shot up out of her sleep and looked around at the tree house and everyone in it.
"Just a dream" she says while placing her arm over her eyes
"Morning" mumbled Grey. His face was shadowed and his grin was depressing. Almost like he's seen a ghost
"Did you have a bad dream?" Asked Grey suspiciously
"How did you-"
"I had one too" a unsettling chill ran up Lucy's spine
"Same here" says happy sitting up in his bed, the look on Happy's face was scary his eyes were glassy and see-through
"I killed Gajeel" whispers happy
"I was holding the knife" said grey
"So was I" Lucy felt guilt and sadness pinch her stomach
"We all did" said Erza sitting up
"We all had the same dream" Natsu said while he wiped tears from his face
"There's something strange about this forest. It's not a normal forest" Carla Walked over to the group "We need to leave. Now"
Wendy's POV
I laid down pretending to be asleep while I heard them talk.
"I dont remember killing him" said Lucy. The team agreed that they had the knife but hadn't actually harmed him. Tears streamed from Wendy's eyes, she pulled the blanket over her face quietly pretending to still be asleep. She had killed Gajeel.
Gajeel stood far away from her on the dirt path. Gajeel had a scroll with a black ribbon around it, he held it tightly in one hand and the blade in the other, he was leaving the forest until she walked out from the tree she had been hiding behind and stood in his way, they were about 30 feet away from each other they both stood in an awkward stance.
"You died a long time ago. Stay that way" said Gajeel with anger in his voice
"I miss you. Please stay. I have a body now. We can go back to being a family. Please don't leave me." Wendy's body felt light and she couldn't control her movement or speech. Her body wasn't her own any more, she was a pupet.
Gajeel walked up to her slowly quietly with only the tapping of his shoes. He held out his hand and opened his palm.
"Take the knife Wendy."
"But brothe-"
"Wendy! Take the knife! I know your still in there!" Tears slowly dripped to the dirt path way. With hesitation she reached for the blade, this time Wendy took the knife the real Wendy did, she reach out and pulled her hand quickly back to her chest, she couldn't bare to touch the knife
"NO! I won't lose you again!" Screamed Wendy. Gajeel grabbed Wendy's hand and ripped it away from her chest he turned her arm over and slammed the knife into her palm.
"I WAS TALKING TO WENDY. Sasha please stop this!"
Gajeel yelled at her and screamed and shouted. But Wendy's emotions were scrambled she was confused scared angry and sad all at once. The thoughts of about six people got mixed with her own she couldn't speak couldnt Listen couldn't cry. She couldn't do anything.
Slice.
She's felt the Blade scrape and tear at his skin. It made the sound of ripping fabric. The world around them slowed down. Her hair flew around in slow motion, his blood burst as slow as a rising sun. Wendy's pupils grew tiny. She couldn't believe what she had done.
"Gajeel..." she whispered
"I'm so sorry..."
"Wendy are you awake?" Asked happy
She rolled over and slowly sat up, acting as if she was asleep before hand
"Yeah" Wendy said through her yawn
"Right then let's go" said Erza
She looked at the team and they were all smiling pushing back their painful dream so that she didn't have to be worried. Natsu and grey smiling their goofy grin Erza and Lucy smiling peacefully. She couldn't hint a single piece of pain in their faces. She smiled back. They gathered their things and climbed down the tree.
"What exactly are we looking for?" Asked Lucy.
"No clue" said Erza proudly
"What?! You mean to tell me we're here for no damn reason!" Screamed Lucy
"No. Happy has the instructions" said Erza
"What a relief give the instruction to a flying blue cat who never shuts up. Couldn't you of at least given the map to a smarter cat like Carla."
