Everyone after my little killing looked at me like I was a monster apart from Gavin. I hated it, I'm not a monster, just a girl who stuck up for herself. I finished the cooking and walked to the table when I heard the boys talking, so I stopped and eavesdropped.

"Guys what should I do, I really like Jess, like a lot, but I don't know how to tell her." Gavin asked.

"Just take her to watch the sun set tonight, make her a gift and then steal a kiss." Geoff replied.

"Guys you really should be quite, Jess will be coming in any second now with our breakfasts." Ray said hushing the guys. And as if on que I walked in with our breakfasts. I placed them down, and sat in a seat that was spare, just in case a guest or a newbie came they made a spare one.

"So what was ye guys talking about whilst I was cooking." I asked and smiled.

"Nothing." Gavin shot at me so quickly. He then started blushing. "I'm gonna eat my breakfast on my bed thankyou." Gavin then scampered to his bedroom.

"I wonder what's got into him." Michael said, whilst nudging Ray in the arm with his elbow, whilst they both laughed.

After breakfast I decided to clean our dirty dishes. I cleaned all of them apart from gavins dish. I put away the clean dishes before walking to the bedroom. The door was closed so I decided to knock.

"Can I have your dish Gav, I'm cleaning up today." I whispered to the door.

"Thanks." Gavin said whilst sliding his plate underneath the door.

For the rest of the day Gavin stayed in the safety of the bedrooms locked door. I didn't know what he was doing, but I have a feeling that he was following through with Geoff's plan. But I'm not into Gavin in that way.

"Jess I made you a bed, come here and see it." It was Michael calling from his,'office.'

"Alright imma coming." I replied walking to his place of work. As I walked in I admired his work. It was made out of birch wooden planks with lightning bolts carved into the headboard. But the quilt was magnificent, it was black, with a little yellow jester hat sown into it just above the yellow lightning bolt, that was also sown into it.

"How can I repay you Michael, this is magnificent." I said whilst hugging him. Even though he is a bit of a live wire, he has a keen hand.

"Just don't leave us, look, we have all seen you're portential, and behind that little girl lies a great warrior, maybe the best, but we just need to keep your anger under control." I didn't expect that.

"Really, you think that I could be a great warrior." Just then I heard the bedroom door click open.

"Let me go and put your bed in the bedroom." Michael said going to pick up the bed.

"No, I can manage, you've already been amazing today." I said lifting the bed onto my shoulders. I walked in and put my bed nearest the door, that just so happened to be right next to Gavin's bed. I looked out of the window to see the sun setting. But no sign of Gavin. Just a note on his bed that had a yellow rose next to it. The letter read, follow the roses and you shall meet your destination.

Oh god. I decided to follow the trail of roses picking each one up as I went. The roses stopped at Gavin's feet. He was dressed in his usual outfit, but had a yellow rose in his jacket pocket.

"Come and sit down." He patted a log that was shapened into a little bench. I sat down and then he sat next to me, this is gonna be a long night.

"Isn't the sun set lovely tonight." I said trying to scoot further away from him.

"Not as lovely as your golden eyes. And shiny yellow hair." He responded. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a little box. The little box had a lightning bolt carved into it. "For you." He said whilst handing me the box. I opened up the box, and a little black bracelet with a lightning bolt attached.

"Thanks, wow Gav, it's really pretty." I smiled looking at him.

"It's a charm bracelet, but no bracelet could be as pretty as you." And before I knew it he kissed me. I shot up pushing him off of me.

"I...I need to go now." I started running, then a lightning bolt struck close behind me.

"Gavin, you IDIOT." I heard Michael yell. I started crying, then a mixture of rain and lightning bolts fell across the land. That's when I realised that it was night time. But Michael said that I had potential. I started fighting all of the mobs around killing everyone of them. God damn it Gavin. That's when a tree started to burn down.

"Michael, is that you?" I questioned trying to peek through the rain. I stopped crying and the rain stopped to, now I can get a better look. It was Michael.

"Oh Jess, I knew that you would be safe." Michael then ran up to me and hugged me. I let the tears start rolling again and the rain continued.

I felt Michael's body to limp. I noticed the spider attacking him and killed it in one swift motion. Was Michael dead. I lifted Michael onto my shoulders, and ran him home.

"Help, someone help me." I shouted as I kicked open the front door.

"Ray, someone, anyone please." I shouted as I laid Michael's lifeless body over the table.
