Ark's POV
"So where are we going?" I asked excitedly to my dad who was in the drivers seat. "You'll see" he replied chuckling at my eagerness, I mean who wouldn't be eager for their 16th birthday. I huffed and sat my head on the now open window beside me, pocketing my glasses so they wouldn't fall off. I sighed looking at the trees speeding past the old beaten up Toyota, the black of the truck faded to a dull grey from its usage. I looked at the digital clock inside the truck that read 9:00pm, I started to panic until I realized that it was a Friday. I looked around and realized we were out in the middle of nowhere, the only thing being around were a few animals and the power line thing that I always thought looked like a person. I bounced my knee impatiently wanting to get out of the truck I've been sitting in forever, my gaze sat upon my father his figure being a bit blurry without my glasses. His black hair atop his head, some of it falling in his face, with his blue eyes framed behind a pair of glasses. They were those small glasses that barely covered your eyes, whereas my glasses could reach just below my eye brow. He had on a back and white plaid jacket on with a pair of jeans, instead of his suit and tie (which I barely see him out of ). I finally broke out of my thoughts to find him smiling at me, "What are you looking at?" I asked as I puffed my cheeks childishly, crossing my arms. "Nothing, it's just since your turning 16 I thought you'd change, but from your face I now see I have nothing to worry about" he managed with out chuckling. I felt heat on my cheeks and turned back towards him "Yeah! What makes you so sure!?" I questioned. He threw his head back in laughter "Because you don't have a mature bone in your body" he stated matter-of-factly. "Whatever" I muttered and turned back to the window. I closed my eyes letting the wind drift through my dark brown hair, the barley audible radio calming me. Only minutes later the truck was screeching, followed by swerving. My head was jerked by inside the car, heart racing at the thought of all the possible outcomes that could happen. "S-sorry about that Ark, there was a turtle in the road" my dad laughed nervously next to me, talking about how it would bring bad luck if he were to hit it. I wasn't listening though still staring at the road in shock. "Hey, you didn't hurt or anything did you?" Dad asked finally snapping me out of my shock. "O-oh no I don't think so" I said, he turned back to me and gave me a closed eye smile. That's the moment I knew something was wrong. I looked around frantically hoping this feeling would die down until my eyes lanes on the road and to my horror I saw what looked like a man, but couldn't make sure with the darkness that surrounded us. "DAD!" I yelled and pointed at the road, he turned back toward the road and widened his eyes, swerving around the figure as to not hit them. Everything went into slow motion as the car rotated from the force of it, and crashed into a nearby tree just beside the road. I held my head feeling a warm liquid come from it only to realize it was blood. My heart beat picked up as I looked around in a panicked daze, my gaze moving toward my dad who wasn't moving. "Dad!?" I called out thinking the worse as my eyes began to water. "D-DAD!" I yelled a choked out a sob as I went to reach for him, but was roughly yanked out of my seat, after grabbing his glasses. "NO!" I yelled "MY DADS IN THERE HE NEEDS HELP!" I screamed and squirmed. I looked up to the figure that was holding my feet, tears freely falling from my face as I let out a screech of utter terror when I saw its masked covered face then realized the seriousness of the situation. The man began to pull me again and I started to tear at the grass, or anything I could anchor myself down with. "NO! DONT TOUCH ME!" I screamed bloody murder as grass was being thrown in every direction, but soon to my luck the smooth grass ended was replaced with rock hard concrete. Not letting this discourage me I still tried to escape, scratching at the concrete until the skin on my fingers began to tear, leaving dark red streaks down the street. "NO STOP!" I continued to yell and struggle from the figure. He roughly turned me on my back and stepped on my chest. I continuously squirmed and yelled from underneath him. He grabbed a nearby piece of metal and held it up, "PLEASE NO!" I pleaded from underneath him, but he swung the metal at me.
No Ones POV
Ark stopped screaming when the man swung the metal to the side of the boys head. The man looked down at him, seaming to be pleased with what he had done and dropped the weapon with a 'clank'. He huffed and started dragging the boy down the side of the street. The stranger stopped when they came to a bundle of leaves, the figure dropped Arks legs and moved the leafs aside to reveal a trap door. He pulled out a bunch of keys, flipping through all of them until he found the one he was looking for. Bending down he unlocked all 6 locks and opened the door. The man picked up the boy again and threw him in the hole, watching him flop down the at least 6 foot drop , landing flat on his back with a 'thump' sound. He closed the door again hearing screams and pleads for help, but ignoring them. locking the 'cage' again before walking off down the road for another victim.
