Fitting in

After about three weeks of going to Wayward Circle, I finally found my way not only around this school but also around the students, and most teachers. I now not only have a group of friends I stick with, but also a bestie that I can open up to about almost anything.
As I walked into the school, and made my way to my locker I noticed someone standing in front of it. Who on earth stands in front of someone's locker?!? I slowly approached the handsome guy, that almost made me melt. I've seen him around school before ,but I've never gotten the chance to talk to him. Not like he'd actually talk to me back or anything but...here he was in front of my locker. I looked at him and his mouth was moving , but I couldn't hear one word he was saying.
Then it hit me and I came back out of my fantasy world.
"So what do you say" he asked with a hopeful grin
"About what I'm so sorry I was a little distracted, could you please repeat that again.....umm Alec?"
"Umm it's Aaron, but ya it's fine I can ask again no big deal. I said I know that we haven't really had a chance to talk or hangout, but I was wondering on what you would say about being my homecoming date?" He asked again
"Me and you? Homecoming?"
"Yeah, I'm sorry if you think this is weird or something....I shouldn't have asked you....I'll just leave you alone, it's cool." He frowned and started to turn and walk away
"No, wait! I called out."I'd love to be your homecoming date, thanks for asking me."
He turned back towards me with a huge smile, followed by a blush."Alright cool, umm I'll pick you up Friday night around four. Here's my number if you wanna text or have any questions." He walked away as I started jumping up and down in the middle of the hallway looking like a complete idiot.
Piper came around the corner and stoped at my locker with wide eyes and a laugh.
"What's up with you ms. Sunshine, I've never seen you so happy"
"I'll tell you later, but first thing after school today we are going dress shopping!" I stated with a huge look of surprise and happiness in my eyes.
