"Are you still awake?" It was more of a determination than a question. Serena nodded and turned back toward the moon and closed her eyes and still enjoyed the fresh night air. She could feel Ash standing next to her and looking at her curiously, which made Serena a little red. "Why are you still awake?" Ash asked after a moment of silence. "I couldn't sleep and since the cool night, the stars and the moon usually calm me, I wanted to get here, but why are you still awake?" Serena asked, her eyes again opened and looked at him curiously. Ash grinned at her and said, "Well, I actually slept, but I just woke up and saw you out there, I thought I'd scare you again." The last part was chuckling, and then Serena had to grin, then asked Ash suddenly: "You said earlier that the stars, the moon and the night soothe what exactly did you mean?" His voice sounded curious and Serena had to smile again. "I think the stars and the moon somehow have a peaceful aura, so I really like it, so I usually go out of here when I think about something or want to calm down. " A gentle smile appeared on Ash's face, and he nodded. "Yes, the night is really peaceful, I like it too." Serena smiled at him and then they just stood side by side and looked into the sky. "Come on Serena, tell me!" She demanded, and finally she opened her mouth and whispered, "Ash ..." The one who was addressed turned to her and looked at her questioningly. "I ...", she wanted to start, but broke off again and clenched her left hand lightly to fist, and took a side glance at Ash, who now looked at her questioningly and confusing, but did not make anything to say. Finally, Serena started talking again, but she did not get what she wanted. "I ... Ash, thank you again for helping me today." She smiled at him. She smiled warmly at her companion and said, "It's okay Serena and, as I said, I just told you the truth... But," he paused, and saw Serena again urgently, "that isn't what you wanted to tell me ... right? " Serena clenched her left hand more firmly and tried to speak with a firm voice. "But of course." But Ash shook his head and rubbed a strand of hair behind her ear with her right hand, which made her blush even more. "You can tell me Serena," he whispered, looking at her with a smile that was almost dazzling. He took his hand back and then stripped her, obviously he wanted to give her courage. ~ Oh, if you only knew you wouldn't do that. ~ She thought frustrated, but now he is so close to her and wanted to give her courage, she could not help it. She had to tell him. "Yeah, right through, I wanted to tell you something else earlier and this is the thing that I ..." But she stopped again and took a deep trembling breath and felt Ash's hand brush her. She opened her eyes and looked at Ash long before she opened her mouth and said, "Ash ... I love you." She saw how Ash's eyes widened and he looked at her disbelieving, then stammered after a long silence: "You l-love me?"
