After a few moments of silence I spoke up "Goldie. I'm.... Sorry to hear that." Goldie rolled his eyes "whatever." I whimpered and looked down.
"It's fine. You don't have to pretend to care." I quickly looked back at him "of course I care. You spent the whole night with me to help calm my fear of thunder. No one else was willing to waste their time like that." He went silent and looked away, I thought I saw blush but I guess not.
"Goldie I care about you. I know we've never really talked til now but....I don't know.... I'll go." My ears laid back as I turned to leave, but I felt someone pull me back, I looked up to see Goldie, he had his arms around my waist. His eyes where closed and he had his face half buried in my hair. I blushed "g-goldie?" He tightened his grip even more and whimpered.
"Don't go."
I blushed more at his words and nodded slightly. We stayed there silently for what felt like hours, tho it was only a few moments."Goldie....you can... Let go. I'm not gonna leave"
He didn't respond at first but then awkwardly moved away from me. I sat beside him and looked at him. He was looking down. "Sorry" he sighed " I don't know why I did that. You can leave if you want to."
I shook my head, "I'm stayin. Just like I said I would....besides. I don't want to be alone either. Its still storming."
