I stood scared at the tone Ethan was using, I mean he never used this tone, he was never this loud, never this mean. We stood in silence, tension filled the air, he scoffed at my sudden quietness.
"No words huh? what, has a cat got your tongue?" he harshly spat at me. I stand there just looking at my fingers.
"You're always mad at me because I'm never home! I'm clearly working Courtney! Can't you see I'm doing this just to keep you happy!" he sighed and clenched his jaw. "You're always being so fucking melodramatic, I'm sick of it! Can't you see I'm doing this because I love you." he whispers the last part.
"Do you even love me anymore?" He questions siting on the couch with his face in his palms.
"Ethan, of course I do," I say in shock.
"It doesn't feel like you do," he says looking at me, tears clearly visible in his eyes.
"Ethan, I'm really sorry... I'm being childish... I just love you so much I never wanna loose you." I smile down at him, he gives me a quick smile. I sit down and rest my head on his shoulder, he rests his head on my head.
"Ethan,"
"Courtney"
"kiss me" I feel him smirk and he lifts his head up and then I do, he looks at me and smiles, he leans in and our lips touch, the kiss was short but sweet.
the rest of the night we sat down and watched movies.
