Chapter 22~The Grand Festival Champion

Finally today is the day for the grand festival i was excited and i have been practicing hard with my pokemon over the weeks and days getting ready for the festival,it made me excited but i felt a little bit nervous as i sat in the waiting room with the other co coordinators while holding who won all of their ribbons aswell.

Natalie : "well well look what the meowth dragged in"

Recognising that voice my head turned to the left there she was wearing a beautiful rose blue and gold dress and some of her hair clipped together and some of her hair was loose in curls,it was natalie.

Autumn : "Hello Natalie"

Natalie : "my my i am surprised you made it here autumn i did feel sorry that you did lose sometimes but now that your here i can beat you!"

Autumn : "Actually natalie i am here to beat you and win it"

Natalie : "we will see loser"

She flicked her hair to the side then walked out as her name was called she made my blood boil but i didn't let her get to me so all i had to do is trust in my pokemon and focus then we could beat her.

Every contestant went on the stage and showed off their pokemon's attack and how they looked they were looking good but then it was turn this time i decided to use skarmory and pikachu for this round as last time it was linoone and sylveon,once it was over i returned to the waiting room. 

 Adam : "you did great out there sis"

Emily : "it was amazing i want to be a co coordinator when i grow up"

Rui : "i loved the moves you did with skarmory and pikachu"

Autumn : "Thanks guys"

We heard footsteps and turning to that direction was natalie who still had a smirk on her face then complimented me in a rude way then walked away laughing,it made me so mad but when it comes to the battle round i will win after beating her.

Battle and battle went on until finally we reached the finals were me and natalie faced off once again,she then called out her pokemon who looked strong and well experienced but i had faith in my pokemon this time i called out sylveon and pikachu.

Natalie : "I am going to show you the true winner of the grand festival"

Autumn : "oh yeah prove it and i will win"

The battle started off with both of our pokemon attacking straight on but luckily i told them to dodge and attack together which showed off a beautiful attack combination and it hit her pokemon,causing her to lose some damage.

Emily : "wow look at them go"

Wes : "Autumn has come so far"

Adam : "yes i am proud of her and i am sure everyone in kalos are watching"

Rui : "and the other regions aswell"

Both of us continued to battle as we continued to lose points it was getting to the thirty seconds mark and putting all the energy and strength to my pokemon they combined a beautiful,deadly damaging attack and so did Natalie's as they exploded and created a cloud of smoke,also the time was up.

As we waited anxiously the cloud of smoke appeared and then we were surprised to see that our points were almost close to each other but i managed to pull into the lead at the very last second in which that meant i won and finally defeated Natalie my long time rival since i first met her.

Announcer : "Ladies and Gentlemen we have your new orre region grand festival champion and it is autumn!"

I stood in shock hearing that i have won the judges came over and the one who organized the pokemon contests and the grand festival handed me the ribbon cup it was truly wonderful to win and my pokemon,worked really well and trained hard for this.
