Chapter. 1

Morgan's pov
'Every day I still feel the same way I did that first night' I said out loud. 'Shane, I still love you! I loved you since I don't know when! Please tell me you feel the same?' I asked the man. 'Morgan, I still care about you and I still love you, but I can't be with a girl like you,' Shane said with anger in his tone. Tears flowed down my face. 'Shane don't do this please!' I pleaded to the boy. 'I'm sorry Morgan, but I can't be with you anymore,' Shane told me. He started to walk away. 'Shane please don't!' I begged while he was walking away. 'Goodbye Morgan,' he said while continuing to walk.

It's been a year since Shane and I broke up. I really miss him. Him and I were together for 2 years. Right now he is happy with another girl. His girlfriend is really nice and pretty. I knew they would end up together, they have been best friends since they were little. Me on the other hand, I'm still single, but I gave up on dating for a while. "Morgan come on we're going to be late for school!" Yelled my best friend Jack. "I'm almost ready calm down," I yelled back while I was putting my hair up in a ponytail. Jack and I have been best friends since the second grade. He was there for me when Shane and I broke up. I saw the tall boy walk into my room. "Morgan we can't be late today lets go! Your hair looks fine, come on!" Jack said when he first walked in. "I'm coming I'm coming ," I said while quickly grabbing my bag off of my chair.
We got into Jack's car, and drove off. I heard the beginning to my favorite song from the 80s. "WATCHING EVERY MOTION IN MY FOOLISH LOVERS GAME!" I sung at the top of my lungs. Jack started to laugh at me, but then started to sing alone with me "TAKE MY BREATH AWAYYYYY!" We sung together. "Damn this song is a good song," Jack said while giggling. I agreed with him and just started to laugh. While we were on the way to school, we just listened to all these 80s songs. Once when we got to the school, we turned off the music, grabbed our bags and left the car. "That was seriously the best thing that happened today!" Jack said while laughing. I nodded in agreement with the boy. "What was the best thing that happened today?" Jacks slutty girlfriend said while walking up to us. "Oh we were just jamming hardcore to some 80s music!" Jack said with a bunch of excitement. "Hey baby, can you give me a ride later?" Jacks slutty girlfriend Jamie said while pushing up her bra. Why is Jack dating a girl like that?!? She is so rude to him, and she hurts him all the time! I looked at Jamie and she gave me a death glare. She hates me so much because of how much I hang out with her boyfriend. If I was Jacks girlfriend I would treat him so much better than she would ever. Wait. What am I talking about? Why am I thinking about being his girlfriend?!? No, no this can not be happening to me. I can't fall for Jack! He's well Jack. I can't fall for him! No, not now, or ever! I look over at Jack and Jamie and I saw they were making out. Great. Just one site I really wanted to see. I rolled my eyes at them. "Come on lover boy we have English, and I don't think Mrs Morris would like that," I said to the boy who was shoving his tongue down the sluts throat. He kissed Jamie one last time and started to walk with me. I looked back at Jamie and I saw her glaring at me. Sorry honey, I didn't want to watch you shove your tongue down my best friends throat.
"Attention class I don't really feel like teaching today, so you guys can have a free period," Mrs Morris announced to the class. I sighed with relief knowing I don't have to listen to her talk all period. I grabbed my history book, and did the homework that is due at the end of the week. "Look at the nerd go!" I heard a voice say. I looked up and saw Jack standing in front of me. "Shut up Jack! At least I do my homework," I told my best friend jokingly. He gave me a sarcastic laugh. "Sorry I have fun doing things, unlike you," Jack said annoyingly. I smacked his arm. "Quit being an asshole," I said while giggling. "Fine I'll stop being an ass," Jack said while laughing and putting his hands up in defense. "Jack Steven, and Morgan Johnson be quiet back there!" Mrs Morris yelled from the front of the class. I looked up at Jack and he looked at me. We both just started to laugh so hard. Typical Lynn Morris.
   English class was finally over. I packed up my books and walked out of the class. God damn it can these people walk any slower. I need to be in history on time. I can't be late for Mr Rodgers class. I found a way to get past these people, and started to speed walk to my history class. I walked in his room a second before the bell has rung. I sighed with relief knowing I was still on time. "If you were 2 seconds later than the bell, you would've been late," Jack said mocking Mr Rodgers. "Shut up! I was still on time though!" I said with excitement. "Wait how did you beat me here? You usually take forever to get here!" I asked my best friend. "I ran," he explained to me. I gave him a nod. "Ok class we are going to learn about World War II!" Mr Rodgers said with a lot of excitement. Yes! World War II is my favorite war to learn about! "I want you guys to do a PowerPoint presentation on World War II, and you are allowed to have a partner," Mr Rodgers announced to the class. I looked at Jack. He is my partner for everything. I noticed Jack has turned his head towards me. "Partners?" Jack asked while whispering. "Partners," I said back while giving him a fist bum. "But class I am choosing the partners so then problems won't happen unlike with Jack and Morgan," Mr Rodgers told the class. The class groaned from that statement. Last time we did a project, Jack and I screwed the whole things up. We also fought most of the time do to me doing all the work, while he was goofing around with his slutty girlfriend Jamie. I seriously hate Jamie!
