As I ran towards the Maze I knew it could only go two ways, one: I could get rid of the monster, and two, I can't even think about what else could happen. I entered the maze and as I did so, a shiver ran down my spine like ice cold blood. I could still hear the monster's feet attacking the ground but more faintly this time. I turned another corner and it was right infront of me stood there on it's hind legs. It stood about ten feet tall, probably even taller if it didn't have a hunched back. The creature was covered head to toe in a thick black fur that was matted together and looked almost spear like. It had long hairy fingers that had long claws on the end with blood stains. I suddenly heard it's rumbling laugh and then say 'there's no point in hiding, I can smell you'

I stood there, frozen to the spot, I daren't move, breath or even blink in case it heard me. Then the tall dark creature turned round slowly. It had a bloody looking scar across one of it's glowing yellow eyes. Teeth as long as my hand, as sharp as a dagger. A smile spread across it's ugly face and it slowly walked towards me. I could hear my heart pounding in my ears. My body was covered in goose bumbs, every hair stood on end. Then it was right in front of me, the creature towering above me, smirking down at me. I screamed until my throat hurt but the creature just laughed and said 'what's the point in screaming when there's no one to hear you?' He laughed again, raised his left arm and slashed his claws through the flesh of my cheek. Then it all went black.

I woke up to find myself tied to a tree, I must have passed out due to the pain. I was surrounded by darkness and four concrete walls. I was in the centre of the maze. I tugged and pulled at my bonds but they only became tighter. A single tear escaped my eye and dripped down my face for what felt like a lifetime. I knew this was the end. I would never see my family and friends ever again. This creature whatever it was, is going to kill me and no one will ever know about it. I stopped thinking to myself as I had heard feet pounding again, this time, there were more. The creature had returned with two others of his kind and all three started circling me. They were getting ready to pounce on me.
