Mark POV

"How much?" I asked the clerk. He placed his hand on the item I was pointing to.

"This one um...500,000." he said while looking at the price tag. I nodded my head at his response. That wasn't a bad price.

"What about the one next to it?"I said nodding in the direction on the next item.

"Well this is our most prize one. So 800,000."he said smiling.

"I'll take it. It reminds me of the one I had before. Oh and I'm paying in cash."I said while lifting the duffle bag that contained the money.

I watched as the clerker slowly took the money out the bag. He took his time counting each and every bundle. Which was annoying.

"Can you count it a little faster. I got to get on the road before the duck get away and I want to be able to try out my new gun."I said with the fakest smile ever.

Truth is this AK47 won't be tested out till later on in the month. On a very special occasion. The duck story is only a cover story.

The clerker nodded his head and started to count the money a little faster. Once he knew that all the money was there he handed me the gun and a box of ammo. I smiled in appreciation.

I walked out and placed everything in the trunk of my Jeep. Closing the back door. I walked over to the driver side and got in. I headed off in the direction of my house.

The restaurant was closed for today. I figured that I should give my workers a day off. Also I have a cleaning team coming over to fix the place up. I wanted to make sure the colors still shined as they did when I first opened. When me and Eva first talked about the restaurant she said that every two to three months we should have the place cleaned. So that's what I'm doing. I know that she doesn't want me but I have a feeling that if I do everything she wanted she will come back to me. She will come back to mend my heart.

I truned on the radio to take my mind off of her.  But when I truned it on I groaned.

"This is Howard Mendes with the lovely model, actress and soon to be mom Eva." Howard said with excitement.

"Thank you for having me Howard. It's an honor to be on the Mendes station today."she said with a little giggle at the end. Which made my heart clinch.

"The world wants to know whats going on. We know that you have a baby on the way. And a big over the top wedding coming up."

"Yes, I'm now four months pregnant. And I developing this little bump here."she giggled. I can picture her standing up showing the little bump off. "The wedding preparations are coming along beautifully. With the help of my fantastic wedding planner. I'll release her name after she's done . I don't mean to sound selfish but she mine right now."she said chuckling.

I chuckled a bit to. She always did put a smile on my face.

"I also have a new lingerie line coming out. It's called Me.Sin."she said in low seductive voice.
Which caused me to swerve on the road. I almost hit two cars but I thankfully didn't. I pressed on the brakes which jerked me forward causing my chest to hit the steering wheel. I moaned in pain. Fuck.

The pain caused me to choke on my breath. I layed back against seat and rubbed my chest. Which seemed to make the pain worsen. I shook my head and reached over into my glove compartment. I took out my pain killers and placed two in my mouth. I swallowed it dry. These pills were recalled about a year ago but who cares. They work perfectly fine.

"Yea they do"

Only problem was that there is always this little voice always talking to me.
