A time of a tale, two lovers stay, living together doing the thing they knew to do best. Which was being them. Working and being so happy and infatuated with each other like no other. But they were just barely being to live where the were staying at yet, they didn't care as long as they were together. One night he stayed up. It was past midnight. The moon was slipping its light beams through the curtains. He sat up holding her close staring at her as she slept with a gentle peace in his embrace. Saddened, his eyes created streams of distress and heartache down his face, he wanted to give her more than what they had. So, he decided to start working longer and longer hours. Coming home each day exhaustingly tired, he still strengthened a smile just for her. She was all he wanted, she made him happy and he gave her kisses good morning and night and loved her like no other all the same, telling her everything's gonna be alright.
After 5 days she couldn't take it anymore. She noticed his fragile state a long time ago but it tortured her too much. She was tormented by her thoughts that betrayed her rather hopeful and upbeat mind. So once he came back late once again she asked him why he was staying out longer and longer. He immediately dropped his bags and jacket, rushed to her, and cupped her face in his hands. Looking straight into her in her eyes that reflected him he told her
"I'm going to make more money for us, for you, I'm going to find us a better place and take you to places you've never seen before. I'm going to make you happy I promise" he said all this with a strained smile.
Her eyes watered up, she started crying in his hands, wetting them. With a frightened yet relieved grin she told him "My love, you're being silly. I don't need all those things to be happy all I need for happiness.... is you" an idea pierced her mind and she took his hand.
She led him out the door and into the forest. "Close your eyes, I'll lead you" she whispered in his ear. His eyes quickly magnetized to each other and he followed her directions.
They headed down a secluded forest path that opened itself up to a hill, it was completely enclosed with an abundance of willow and cherry blossom trees. At the top of the hill stood a lone, single, and proud cherry blossom tree. She told him to open his eyes. As his eyes revealed their new location, fireflies illuminated the dancing cherry blossom petals and through the wispy leaves of the willow trees. It somehow made a spectrum of colors, it was enchantingly beautiful. She stood right next to him looking at his face in amazement.
The moment he turned to her she smiled, he then smiled back. Then he pulled her closer to him. Their bodies now shared the same space. The same warmth. The same touch. He put his hand on her waist, caressing her, putting the other hand to her cheek whisking away the hair on her face so he could gaze into her glistening eyes. He told her what he was about to do solely through eye contact then leaned his face in slowly kissed her soft lips with his. Fireflies radiate their brilliant glow as they veil the lovers while the share a kiss underneath the stars that paint the night sky with the gentle shimmer.
